We understand your distress and we are here to support you in prayer and guidance. It seems that you are dealing with intrusive thoughts and a lingering connection with your old manager that is not healthy or beneficial for you.

Firstly, let's remember what the Word of God tells us about our thought life and how to handle unwanted thoughts. In 2 Corinthians 10:5 (WEB), it is written, "bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ." This means we have the power, through Christ, to control our thoughts and not let them control us.

However, we must also address the root of the issue. It is clear that this person is causing you distress and that you need a clear separation. In such cases, it is important to set boundaries and seek help if necessary. Remember, in Matthew 18:15-17 (WEB), Jesus teaches us about conflict resolution and setting boundaries with those who wrong us.

Let us pray for you:

" Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear friend who is struggling with intrusive thoughts and a harmful connection with their old manager. Lord, we ask that you break any unhealthy bond between them. Help our friend to bring every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. Grant them the strength to set clear boundaries and seek help if needed. Fill their mind with your peace, your truth, and your love. Protect them from any harm or distress. We rebuke any spirit of obsession or unhealthy attachment in Jesus' name. Amen."

Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. If you have not already, consider accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior. He alone can save us and intercede for us with the Father. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

We understand that it's not just about the intrusive thoughts, but also the emotional weight of this situation. Let's remember Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Jesus wants to heal and set you free.

We've prayed for strength and peace for you, but let's also remember to pray for your manager. In Matthew 5:44, Jesus tells us to "love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you." It's not easy, but it's a powerful way to break free from bitterness and allow God to work in both of your lives.
