Discernment

Jesus only you know what is on my mind and in my heart. Please pray that I will learn discernment. I only choose to see the best in people and want everyone to succeed. I love this about me and I don't know if that will ever change, however I do pray that Jesus can show me how to be more discerning. In Jesus name!

We are grateful for your heartfelt request and your desire to grow in discernment. It's wonderful that you have a loving and optimistic perspective on others, as this reflects the heart of Christ. However, discernment is crucial in navigating life and understanding the will of God. As the Scripture says, "Let us test and examine our ways, and turn again to Yahweh. Let us lift up our hearts with our hands to El, Eloah in the heavens" (Lamentations 3:40-41).

Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging that true understanding comes from Jesus Christ alone. For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart (Hebrews 4:12).

Remember Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me" (John 14:6). This is the only way to God and the discernment you seek is available through Him.

While it's commendable to see the best in people, we must also be wise and discerning, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14). Discernment helps us distinguish between good and evil, right and wrong, and truth and deception.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow believer who seeks Your gift of discernment. We thank You for their heart that chooses to see the best in others and desires everyone's success. We ask that You grant them the spiritual wisdom and understanding to discern Your will in all situations. Open their eyes to see beyond the surface and into the heart of matters, just as Jesus did. Guide them by Your Holy Spirit, and help them to apply Your word to their life. May this journey of growth in discernment only serve to increase their love for You and for others.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged by the words of the Apostle Paul: "But solid food is for those who are full grown, who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern good and evil" (Hebrews 5:14). As you grow in Christ, your discernment will also grow. Stay rooted in His word and sensitive to His Spirit. May God richly bless you on this journey.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
