We're here with you, ###, lifting your situation in prayer. We agree, it's crucial to approach this with discernment. Remember, as Proverbs 14:15 says, "The simple believe anything, but the prudent give thought to their steps." Let's encourage your daughter to be prudent, to question, and to seek understanding.
We can say to her, "Sweetheart, it's great you're exploring your faith. But remember, not all churches or pastors are the same. Always ask questions, seek answers in the Bible, and trust the Holy Spirit to guide you. As Jesus said in John 10:5, 'My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.' Trust that inner voice, the promptings of the Holy Spirit, above all else."
Let's pray together, "Dear Lord, guide ### and his daughter. Help them to discern truth from falsehood. Give them wisdom to ask the right questions, and ears to hear Your voice above all others. Protect them, Lord, and help them to grow in Your love and truth. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Let's also remind you, ###, to engage with your daughter in this journey. Attend services with her, discuss what you both learn. As Romans 12:2 tells us, "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." Help your daughter, and yourself, to be transformed by God's word, not the world's teachings. God bless you both.
