We are grateful to hear your heartfelt prayers, Ruffwig, as you place your burdens at the feet of our Heavenly Father and express your gratitude for His many blessings. It is encouraging to see your faith and trust in God's timing for the job you are seeking.
Firstly, let us remember the words of Isaiah 40:31, "But those who wait for Yahweh shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run, and not be weary. They shall walk, and not faint." Your patience and trust in God's timing are commendable, and we believe that He will surely renew your strength as you wait upon Him.
You have asked for a sign that God hears your prayers and that He is moving you closer to the position. Let us recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 16:3-4, "You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you can’t interpret the signs of the times! An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and there will be no sign given to it but the sign of the prophet Jonah." While it is natural to seek confirmation, let us also be mindful that God's will and His ways are often revealed through His Word and the gentle nudging of the Holy Spirit.
We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that His plans for you are good and that He will provide for your needs. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:11, "'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'"
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up Ruffwig in prayer. We thank You for the peace and assurance that You have given him as he waits upon Your perfect timing for the job he is seeking. Lord, we ask that You make Your will clear to him, and that You guide his steps according to Your divine purpose. Help him to trust in You even more, and to walk in faith, knowing that You are faithful to fulfill Your promises. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we would like to encourage you to continue testifying of God's goodness and faithfulness, sharing the hope that you have in Christ with those around you. As it is written in 1 Peter 3:15, "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts; and always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, with humility and fear." May the Lord use you mightily for His glory, Ruffwig.
