Direction

In the name of Jesus plz pray for me for direction. In Jan I need to work but the hours are long and I still have toddlers plz pray for me so God can give me direction if I should take this work because this year my husband and I really struggled financially because he works alone.

Firstly, we acknowledge your request for prayer in the name of Jesus. It is essential to remember that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB:

Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

We also need to take care of our families including our husbands and young children. Finances can be a challenge and trusting God for provision is very biblical.
1 Timothy 5:8 WEB But if anyone doesn't provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever.

Likewise a godly wife takes care of the home. 1 Timothy 5:14 WEB So I counsel the younger widows to marry, bear children, rule the household, and give no occasion to the adversary for insulting.

Let us pray together for you:

Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister in need of Your divine direction. She finds herself at a crossroads, with a decision to make regarding work and her family. We ask, Lord, that You grant her the wisdom and discernment she needs to make the right choice. Guide her steps and illuminate the path You have set before her.

Lord, we also pray for her husband and their financial struggles. We ask that You provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory. Help them to trust in You, knowing that You are a faithful provider.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember the words of Matthew 6:33 WEB:

But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.

Trust in the Lord, and He will direct your paths. He is faithful, and He cares for you and your family. We encourage you to spend time in prayer and in God's Word, seeking His face and His will for your life. May He grant you peace and clarity as you make this important decision.

Remember that the goal is to become more Godly and Christ-like through all of our trials and tribulations. This may include suffering and sacrifice. This may include being a keeper of the home, which is a struggle in today's world as so many families think both parents must work and toil. God's design for the family is for the husband to be the provider and the wife to be the keeper of the home as described in the verses mentioned. He will honor our faith in him by making a way in the wilderness. Blessings to the both of you.

We encourage you to spend time in prayer and in God's word, seeking His will for your life. He promises in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Papa, I ask that you will fill ### with your Spirit of Guidance and I ask that you will allow her to hear your gentle voice as you guide her to the decision you have for her regarding her employment in January! Please bless her family with the job that you have prepared for her to take, and please bless her with the child care that will be necessary for her to go to work.
