I’m having difficulties writing my cover letter and resume. Every time I try to do it I get discouraged as I feel that I don’t have any marketable skills. I feel like I’m wasting my time and I just can’t do it right now. I’m Really trying hard but I just don’t have confidence as I’ve been at one job for so long. Lord I’m really trying but I need your assistance to get through this. I tried getting help with it but it was just futile. I’m really trying but lack motivation.

Firstly, let's address the feeling of not having marketable skills. Remember, God has equipped each of us with unique gifts and talents. As a believer, you are part of the body of Christ, and just as a body has many parts with different functions, so do we. 1 Corinthians 12:12-27 WEB. Even if you have been in one job for a long time, you have developed skills that are transferable to other roles. Think about your responsibilities, the tasks you have mastered, and the projects you have completed. These are not just experiences but evidence of your abilities.

Secondly, it is clear that you are dealing with a lack of confidence and motivation. This is a spiritual battle as much as it is a practical one. The enemy often uses discouragement to keep us from moving forward in our lives and in God's plan for us. Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid nor dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9 WEB. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is feeling discouraged and lacking confidence in their job search. We ask that you remind them of the skills and talents you have blessed them with and give them the wisdom to communicate these effectively in their resume and cover letter.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of discouragement and lack of motivation. We claim victory and ask for the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit to fill them with renewed strength, confidence, and motivation. Lord, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to you and your throne. Only in the name of Jesus that we can be saved. For you gave him all authority and power.

Lord, we ask this in Jesus' precious name. Amen.

Now, let's address your concern. You mentioned that you have tried getting help but it was futile. It's important to remember that God often works through people and resources to provide us with the help we need. Don't be discouraged by past experiences. Keep seeking help from different sources, such as career counselors, online resources, or trusted friends and family. Be persistent and patient.

Lastly, remember that God has a plan and a purpose for your life. He has prepared good works in advance for you to do. Ephesians 2:10 WEB. Trust in His timing and His ways. He will open the right doors for you.

Dear Lord,

We lift up our friend to You today. We ask that You remind them of the unique skills and talents You've given them. Help them see their worth and value, and guide them as they update their resume and cover letter. Give them clarity and confidence in communicating their abilities.

Lord, we come against any spirit of discouragement and lack of motivation. We declare Your strength, courage, and motivation over their life in Jesus' name. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, resurrecting their hope and drive.

We also pray for divine connections, Lord. Help them find the right resources and people to assist them in their job search. Open doors that no one can shut, and close doors that should never have been opened.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
