We are truly sorry to hear about the challenges your dad is facing at his job and the concerns surrounding his health. We will stand with you in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, it's important to remember that God is sovereign over all things, including our employment and health. As it says in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is working even in this difficult situation.
However, we want to address that the request is not asking anything in Jesus's name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Now, let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus to lift up Sumaryk's dad. Lord, you know the struggles he is facing at his job and the concerns surrounding his health. We pray for your healing touch upon him and for your wisdom to guide his steps.
We also pray for the hearts of his superiors. Lord, if it is your will, soften their hearts and change their minds, that they may accept his resignation and allow him to return to his native place before January 10th. We ask that your will be done in this situation and that you provide a clear path for Sumaryk's dad. Above all that his superiors are able to see the love of Christ in this process.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen."
Remember, God is faithful and he cares for you and your dad. Continue to trust in him and seek his will in all things. As it says in Psalm 55:22, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved."
Stay strong in your faith and take comfort in the promises of God's word. We also strongly advise that your dad seek the lord to make this decision. Help him to seek godly advise as well, possibly from your pastor or elder in your church.
