Did Adam and Eve go to Heaven or Hell?

Ok, we know that someone in their sinful state cannot enter Heaven.{Unless they accept the salvation plan.}We also know that God is no respecter of persons.Now Adam and Eve fell from grace.That means their bodies were in their same sinful state as their descendants_us!!Yet on most Christian forums, when asked this question,overwhelmingly the answer is,Adam and Eve went to Heaven upon death.{Which, if they didn't repent, would override Gods edict about sin can't enter Heaven, and worse, make it look like God is playing favorites by giving them a special break.}Also, the point that God "overlooked" because they didn't have the knowledge doesn't apply, because God clearly told them not to do that.I say, it depends on if they acknowledged and repented of the sin,and turned back to Gods way,they went to Heaven.But I don't think we should AUTOMATICLLY say they went to Heaven,like 99% of Christians believe.If there's a scripture to show that Adam and Eve repented, that would be proof that they went to Heaven. If there's no statement one way or the other, by proclaiming they went to Heaven is just our opinion.

Firstly, people are not saved by repenting, but by having faith in the gospel, which Adam and Eve heard clearly in God's prophecy about Christ coming through the woman to bruise and crush the authority of the serpent by having His heel smitten (suffering for our transgressions), Steven. That's called the Protus Evangelium or First Gospel. You can check out that this is fundamental and foundational here: https://duckduckgo.com/html/?q=protus evangelium first gospel The people in The Old Testament were all saved by believing there would be a coming Messiah. All the continuous prophecies throughout the entire Old Testament gave continued hope of when where and how this would come about from Genesis to Malachi.

Another proof that Adam and Eve were saved by believing is that Christ sacrifices something innocent for them to cover their shame afterward (again pointing to Jesus). God does this for people who are saved (of which repentance is the fruit of not the cause of salvation), not who are not saved. By this I mean would God cover their shame if it were legitimate because they were not forgiven, or because they needed an outward sign they were saved like baptism does for us now?

If people were saved by repenting, then New Year's resolutions would usher in world-wide revival -- but it is not faith in our little vows and will-power that saves us but a heart changed by God. God first makes the tree good, then the fruit follows (Matt 12:33). So it was with Adam and Eve, Abel, and then Seth (not Cain who was of the evil one John says in 1 John).

You might want to do some more reading before posting about such important matters such as salvation. You probably have off today and tomorrow. Why not read through Galatians and then re-read Genesis 3? Keep reading : )

"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth" (2 Tim 2:15).

Have A Blessed & Prosperous New Year 2018—May the Lord bless you, keep you, make His face to shine upon you, be gracious to you, lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.

I can do that, Still doesn't specify if they accepted that.Even nowadays, a lot of people hear the Gospel, but don't accept it,and if they walk away,they'e still unsaved."Faith comes not by hearing"

Faith comes by hearing the Word of God....(Look it Up).

I believe they were save, because repentance means to stop doing what you repented for. The Bible never tells us any other time that they disobeyed God.

The skins showed they were covered, Steven. God would not have covered them if they were guilty.

"The LORD God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them" (Gen 3:21).

Please read Galatians and Genesis 3 again. Last thing we need is questions about things already answered. We'll go back to the dark ages -- Really -- Paul cleared most of this up already : )

Ok, that answer convinced me. That's an accurate point.Just like we're covered by the blood.

Yes, "Faith comes from hearing the Word of God" (Rom 10:17)

They heard the Word of the gospel message that particularly was for their salvation and the salvation of mankind. I had better quote it, I tend to believe that people have already studied the Bible. This is from Genesis 3 by the way:

14 The Lord God said to the serpent,

“Because you have done this,
Cursed are you more than all cattle,
And more than every beast of the field;
On your belly you will go,
And dust you will eat
All the days of your life;

15 And I will put enmity
Between you and the woman,
And between your seed and her seed;
He shall [d]bruise you on the head,

And you shall bruise him on the heel.”

d. (Or crush)

The reason I say "read Galatians" and "Paul already cleared this up" is here:

"But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, to redeem those under the Law, that we might receive our adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!” (Gal 4:5).

For Paul, receiving our adoption as sons is synonymous with "being saved," "being a Christian" or being "born again." He also equates being a believer to someone being "in Christ."

The only thing that I might add is that hearing the Word of God is doing the Words of Jesus :)

Adam and Eve was God's chosen people to start the human race. Did Adam and Eve teach their children to sacrifice? Do we forget that God has a right to choose us? To choose to accept a sacrifice over another's?

If hearing alone gets you saved, explain the thousands of people who have heard the Gospel, and not all of them got saved.Many HEAR it, but reject it.Isn't accepting it more important then JUST hearing it?
