'Noah did everything just as God commanded him.' Genesis 6:22 NIV

Imagine if God had asked you to build the ark, instead of Noah. What an incredibly daunting task! The ark was roughly the length of one-and-a-half football fields. Inside, it would have been about the same size as 350 buses. If we take the average animal to be the size of a sheep, the ark would have held around 125,000 animals. If you were under the same conditions as Noah then, as well as being tasked with building this immense structure, you'd have no power tools or machinery to help you build it.
Most of us probably wouldn't even try if we were asked to take on the task; it seems impossible. But with God's help, nothing he asks us to do is impossible. All that he requires is that we obey him, trust him and say 'yes' to him. Then he can help us achieve the seemingly impossible. The Bible tells us that 'Noah did everything just as God commanded him' (Genesis 6:22 NIV). And the result was that Noah successfully completed the ark, and saved his family and the animals when God flooded the earth. Noah's act of obedience literally changed the world.
Maybe God won't ask you to take on a task as big as building an ark, but your obedience to him could end up having effects that are just as world-changing.

So what now? Is there something difficult or seemingly impossible that God's been asking you to do? Today, say 'yes' to him. Ask him to help, and be prepared for an amazing outcome.

Sometimes I question if my commitment to God in Trinity is from the deepest part of my heart. This question flashes when I witness people getting supernatural deliverance. I find myself climbing a slippery steep mountain day after day.
I know God is always with me and He protects me everyday and night. I just need a break like Job did after suffering.
What can I do to affirm that I obey my God Almighty with all my heart. I have faith in God and Trust him. He has walked with me this far.

Amen…. Thanks for sharing, friend. God works in amazing ways and sometimes we need to listen to the still small voice, take a step of faith and obey.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
