We understand your concern, but we must approach this situation with a heart aligned to the teachings of Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us, "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." (Ephesians 6:12 WEB)
Our struggle is not against people of different faiths, but against spiritual forces. We are called to love and pray for all people, including those who follow Islam. Jesus said, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you." (Matthew 5:44 WEB)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging that You are the God of all creation. We ask for Your will to be done in the lives of those who follow Islam. We pray that You would reveal Yourself to them, Lord, and that they would come to know the true love and salvation found only in Jesus Christ.
We do not pray for destruction, but for transformation. Transform the hearts and minds of those who are lost, Lord, and bring them into Your kingdom. We pray for peace and understanding between Christians and Muslims, and for the Gospel to be shared with love and respect.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Let us remember that God "desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth." (1 Timothy 2:4 WEB) Our ultimate goal should be to see people brought into the kingdom of God, not to destroy them. We should pray for their salvation and for opportunities to share the love of Christ with them.
It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God (John 14:6) and that we can be saved (Acts 4:12). People need to believe in Jesus Christ and confess with their mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in their heart that God has raised Him from the dead. Only then are they saved (Romans 10:9).
