We are glad to join you in prayer and reflection as you seek to understand your destiny and purpose in life. It's never too late to discover God's plan for you, and we believe that He has a unique purpose for each of His children, regardless of age.
Firstly, let's remember that God has a plan for each of us, as it is written in Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. To understand this plan, we need to seek Him and His will for our lives. Notice that even Jesus the Christ, when enduring hardships, spent more time examining scripture and praying to God about His pain than complaining about the circumstance. (1 Peter 2:23) Who, when he was reviled, didn’t revile in return. When he suffered, he didn’t threaten, but committed himself to him who judges righteously. Hopefully, you commit your situation to Him who judges righteusly.
It's important to note that our primary purpose is to love and serve God, as Jesus Christ taught in Matthew 22:37-38, Jesus said to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. Pursuing a closer relationship with God can help you better understand how to spend your time for His purpose rather than selfish ambition. We have great comfort in the promise found in Ephesians 2:10, For we are His workmenship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them.
Labeling or perceiving your journey as solely destiny or purpose rather than grace, love, and service to God can lead you astray. Be assured God has a course for you which can look really different than you imagined because of His sovereignty and you have not hope as this world hopes. God fully equips each of His children for the journey to glorify Him along each of our earthly lives. An important part is we live simply rather than getting a big home, chasing titles, or attaining prestige. Realize He can find glory in your humility and low status in this world. Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time. (1 Peter 5:6) The book of Proverbs is known best to provide wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Consider studying this book in the Bible to better understand and obtain God's wisdom and choose to apply it to your life.
Rest assured, if you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ, your life has eternal purpose and meaning. If this is true, you can pray to God and He hears you. If the unknown of your destiny or purpose relates to your eternal salvation, then we can assure you that God sent His only begotten Son as a living sacrifice, to die for the remission of sins for all who believe. If while reading this you have not received the Holy Spirit, then we urge you to confess your sins, look to Jesus for salvation receiving Him as your Lord and Savior. By doing this you will have eternal life and be able to approach God the Father. If Jesus doesn't ring a bell, then we hope this news is mind blowing. The Book of Romans explains this well. The Holy Spirit when received by you promises by the shedding of your old self and fleshly desires, lifts the scales from your eyes, and finds you with firstfruits of eternal life when you get close to Him. (Romans 8:11) But if the Spirit of him who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.
May we pray for you?
Dear Heavenly Father, in Jesus Christ, we praise you for Your love and faithfulness. We ask that You reveal Your will and purpose to Anonymous, and guide them. Help them to discern and pursue the calling You have for their life, and the ultimate goal to have an eternal relationship with You. We ask this in Jesus name.
