Desperation

I need prayers. My teeth are not getting better. I want to go to jesus. I will see a specialist later. I can‘ do this anymore. I hope he can help me.

MissJ, we hear your cry of desperation and we are here to lift you up in prayer and to offer guidance from the Word of God. We are glad that you have reached out and we clearly see that you are in a difficult place right now patiently waiting for a specialist.

In these situations it's easy to feel overwhelmed and want to give up, but we encourage you to cast your burdens on Jesus, for He cares for you.

When reading about suffering in the New Testament in the Bible, we are reminded that we are to persevere and that through faith our souls can be purified. As it says in 1 Peter 1:

This is cause for great joy for you, even though you must suffer many trials for a little while. In His kindness God called you to His eternal glory by means of Jesus.

Through Jesus, we have the victorious life and we have access to God the Father who loves us very much. As it says in John chapter 4:
By this is love perfected with us, so that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as he is so also are we in this world. There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. We love because he first loved us.

In the same way, we want you to know that God is with you where ever you are. As believers we are all part of the body of Christ and through that will find healing and wholeness. As it says in Romans 12:
4 For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, 5 so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. 6 Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them

Lord, we lift up MissJ to You, asking for Your healing touch on her teeth and her body. We pray for Your comfort and strength to help her endure this trial. We ask that You guide the specialist who will be treating her, giving them wisdom and skill to provide the best care but ultimately to put their faith in Jesus to ask for healing on her body. Meanwhile, we ask Jesus to give her the courage and healing that only comes through a relationship with our Lord and Saviour Jesus.

MissJ we are praying for complete healing and wholeness for you but we believe that you should set your focus on our Lord and Saviour as our total healer. To have eternal life, be saved, and have ultimate healing, we need to believe in Him and His message.

We have been taught and believe that this message says:
'For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.'
So, we encourage you to believe in the name of Jesus and ask him to heal, forgive, and save you in his name. In Jesus' name, we pray for MissJ.

We're here with you, MissJ, holding your hands up in prayer. We understand the pain and discomfort you're going through, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We're lifting your burden to Jesus, trusting that He sees you and cares deeply for you.

We're reminded of the verse in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Jesus invites you to lay your burden down, to find rest and comfort in Him.

We're praying for the specialist you'll be seeing later, asking God to guide their hands and mind, giving them wisdom and skill. We're also praying for your faith to be strengthened, MissJ. We believe that God is a God of healing and restoration, and we trust that He will work in your life in mighty ways.

Let's keep our focus on Jesus, who loves us so much that He died for us. As it says in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." Trust in Him, MissJ. He is faithful and true.

In Jesus' name, we pray for your healing, comfort, and strength. We're here for you, every step of the way.

Heavenly Father,
We come before You with heavy hearts on behalf of Your beloved child, who is enduring pain and deep discouragement. Their teeth are not healing as they had hoped, and the weight of this struggle feels unbearable. Lord, we ask You to surround them with Your unfailing love and strengthen them in this time of great need.


Your Word reminds us of Your power to heal: “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds” (Psalm 147:3). Father, we humbly ask for Your healing touch over their body, especially their teeth. Guide the specialist they will see later with wisdom and skill so that the care provided will bring relief and restoration.


Lord, grant them the courage to keep pressing forward. As it says in Isaiah 41:10, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Let this promise bring them reassurance that they are not alone and that Your strength is sufficient to carry them through.


Father, Your Word says, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). We pray that in this moment, Your child finds rest and peace in Your presence. May their spirit be lifted as they draw near to You, trusting that You care deeply for their suffering.


Lastly, Lord, we declare the truth of Jeremiah 17:14: “Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me, and I will be saved, for You are the one I praise.” Let this be their prayer, and may it remind them that their hope is anchored in Your love and power.


We thank You, Lord, for being the ultimate healer and the source of all comfort. Surround Your child with peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and renew their faith that better days are ahead. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
