We are grateful for your heart for godly counsel. In all things, it is essential to seek God's will and trust in His timing.
Firstly, we commend you for seeking a God-centered relationship. It is crucial to remember that God's timing is perfect, and He works all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28,WEB). God is sovereign over our lives, and He knows what is best for us. We must trust in Him and His plan for our lives.
Regarding your feelings and prayers, remember that feelings can sometimes be deceiving. Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We caution you against rushing into any relationship without clear guidance from God. It is encouraging that you are seeking God's will in this matter. Continue to pray and seek His face. If this person is indeed God's will for your life, He will make a way, even if the circumstances seem challenging, such as the potential move abroad.
If you have not already prayed in the name of Jesus, we encourage you to do so. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother in Christ who is seeking Your will for his life. Lord, we ask that You guide him and give him wisdom regarding this potential relationship. Help him to trust in Your timing and to wait patiently for Your direction.
Father God in the Name of Jesus we ask for clarity. If this person is indeed Your will for his life, make it clear and remove all obstacles. If not, we pray that You would give him the strength to let go and move forward in Your will.
We pray all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
