We are truly sorry to hear about your circumstances, Pethyeth, and we want to lift you up in prayer and provide some biblical encouragement during this difficult time.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is sovereign, and He cares deeply for you. In 1 Peter 5:7, the Apostle Peter writes, Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. We encourage you to surrender your anxieties and fears to God, knowing that He has your best interests at heart. Also consider Matthew 6:33 and seek first his kingdom and his righteousness and expect all things to be added to you, which you need.
When reading your story, it was noticed you have not referenced Jesus Christ, or God's Son. We believe it is very important for you to realize that because you believe in Jesus Christ you have everlasting life with God the Father. Not believing in the Son is condemnation as described in John 3:36. Without belief in the Son we are condemned to hell, but there is good news. Jesus is the sacrificial lamb. Jesus was slain so you can believe in him and have the path to reconciliation with God the Father, who was estranged by our human father Adam, and we all have followed that path without Jesus. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. Accept that gift by believing in Jesus Christ the Lord. To reject that gift is called reprobation. This means you accepted what the Bible calls unbelief. Not believeing that Jesus Christ is our Savior, who payed the ransome for us that our Father Adam and ourselves with him rejected God and chose our own independent way. One day at the Judgment the Lord Jesus Christ will do you justly as you deserved. May we encourage you to seek to not put that off for another day, the ransom is payed if you believe. Confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart God raised Him from the dead and you will be saved from the law of sin and death Romans 10:9.
Now, let's address your job situation. It's clear that you're facing significant physical challenges and your job is important to you. We encourage you to trust in God's timing and provision. In Proverbs 3:5-6, we read, Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not rely on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make straight your paths.
Regarding your health, we pray for healing and strength. In James 5:14-15, we are encouraged to pray for one another that they may be healed. The fervent, effectual prayer of a righteous man avails much. This healing may include God providing medical professionals wisdom on how to best treat you. Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. As an elder said in a service, heal in the context of this scripture would better be rendered as "whole", implying as well as possible. Whether by the blood of Jesus, or means he provides is up to him. By no means however should we let this hamper our Faith. The outcome is fully trusting Him and in our faith have all our Faith in Jesus.
We also pray for your housing situation. Sometimes, God allows trials to draw us closer to Him. If a home repair need will be met trust him that he will use even that to restore you or build your Faith. Some think the myth of Job, but much evidence shows the Bible to be true even today. Could God allow us to fall from our safe abode and still retain a safe space for us in Him in that time? Let no one say the Almighty has committed evil. Does this not come from our own flesh? Many paths to be exact. If it is God's will, your home will be restored, and if it is not God's will in the sense that as you know it, look forward with Joy to see what God has in store for you. Take caution and trust in his process. As more of your Faith is built expect healing in this and some things that will indeed be changed. This will we pray in Jesus' name.
Concerning your husband's passing away there is comfort in 1 Thessalonians 4:13. We are to not be ignorant concerning those who have fallen asleep, or as you would say died. Do not sorrow as others which have no hope. Jesus Christ died for us. Just as we believe that he was raised from the dead we expect those who sleep in him to be raised with him. Does this mean you will necessarily see him again? Firstly in order to die the second death to be separated from God you need to reject him. That would be the case if you do not believe in Jesus Christ. That is a day we all must give an accounting. But if you do believe in Him and confess your sins you may hope in this from 1 Corinthians 15:22. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
We specifically pray that your supervisor will have compassion on your situation and that your transfer request will be expedited according to the Lord's perfect will. We pray that your body can rest and heal more. There is nothing wrong to put out a fleece about something like Gideon as is recorded in Judges 6:36-40 to confirm what you believe his will may be.
Lord Jesus, we ask that you intervene in Pethyeth's life and help her. That you will make her the instrument, that you will strengthen to your glory. We ask these things in Jesus' name, trusting in your will and your timing. Amen.
We are here for you, sister, in Jesus' name.
