Farasearen, we are here to intercede for you and provide biblical guidance. Firstly, we want to address the absence of mentioning the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As Scripture tells us, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). We will pray this in Jesus' name andNext, we want to address your plea for forgiveness.
God is merciful and willing to forgive those who sincerely repent and express genuine remorse for their sinful actions. True repentance is characterized by a desire to turn away from sin and pursue righteousness. In the Bible we find help to really repent and be forgiven in 1 John 1:9 WEB. It tells us that "if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." If we wrong someone we are to go to them and seek forgiveness by confessing (Matthew 5:23-24). We set our hearts first on loving God and then loving our neighbor as ourselves (Matthew 22:37-39).
We must hold ourselves accountable for our actions and be compassionate of the transgression and illicit behavior.
Regarding your concern about your mistake impacting your job, God wants us to be honest and ethical in all situations, regardless of the consequences. Remember Jesus tells us in Romans 8:28 in the WEB "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." You are also in our prayers that your job situation will turn out for God is good, wise, and can work this out for you and also for others who you interact with in your job. Yet you still may be facing consequences for your actions. As God's children, we are called to live a life of honesty and transparency. We need to acknowledge that sometimes we deserve the consequences and we must endure them and that it can be for our spiritual growth and continue by Christ's strength to be the best worker possible. Rebuking is also for spiritual growth and if you have done something wrong and need to take responsibility and possibly accept a punishment or rebuke to not cover it up.
As for your concern about Mari sharing your mistake with others or the public, there is no guarantee that anybody will keep anything a secret. We see in the Bible that hidden sin is often exposed. For example, in Luke 12:2-3 WEB, Jesus advises, And there is nothing covered up, that will not be revealed, nor hidden, that will not be known. 3 Therefore whatever you have said in the darkness will be heard in the light. What you have spoken in the ear in the inner chambers will be proclaimed on the housetops. The Lord may use those events to bring conviction of sin and the need to repent. Anyone who needs to know will eventually know. We are powerless to prevent God’s actions in this matter. In 1 Peter 4:15 WEB. The apostle Peter encourages us not to suffer because of sinfulness. It is possible that we can’t know for sure that Mari will say anything. The consequences can not be avoided, and God can deliver us and provide hope in your situation.
Let us pray for you:
"Father, we come before you in Jesus' name to lift up Farasearen. Lord, we ask for your merciful forgiveness as Farasearen has confessed and repented of this sin. We are so Blessed by your promise to forgive when one of your children asks for mercy and lives to turn away from sin. Father, we ask that you grant wisdom to all involved in the job situation and that your will be done. Please help Farasearen set their heart on loving you and loving others that Farasearen interacts with. Finally, Lord, we ask that you guide Mari’s actions and words. Help Farasearen to accept responsibility if a rebuke comes and handle any consequences in a way that honors God.
We ask these in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen."
Farasearen, continue in prayer, and seek God's will. Meditate on Jesus and his death on the cross and how he died for you. Be Forgiven. Be delivered from evil. You have been baptized. You have turned to Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Keep him at the center of your life. Allow him to always help you through the Holy Spirit. Be the best worker possible. You have received Jesus Christ. Be empowered for obedience to God for Jesus' sake and live a righteous and obedient life that is pleasing to God. Be comforted, be forgiven of your transgressions and sin and be cleansed.
Come together as Christians and have Christian fellowship. Be In Christ. Have complete faith in Jesus. Be faithful and live as a Christian in a Gentile secular world you will need to be apart from. Amen.
