DESPERATE PRAYER

My mom and I have been fighting all day because she doesn't want me to leave Saturday to be with my fiance as planned to pursue a godly marriage. She began physically fighting me and trying to stop me from going. She is claiming now that I can't leave on Saturday (even though she said it was fine the last 2-3 weeks) without my brother coming first to drive us on Tuesday instead. My fiance said he can't continue with the relationship if I don't leave Saturday because he doesn't trust my family anymore since they have been lying to us consistently for the last 5 months. My brother said he can move his flight to Sunday so it's at least a day delayed, but my fiance keeps saying no. I don't know what to do because I want to leave Saturday to be with my fiance but my family is causing the issues since they dislike him. My family is painting this picture of me as a bad person when I'm not. Even my mom has been calling me dog all day and throwing my sister's mental health burden on me from me wanting to leave. They claim I don't have a backbone. Help God please in Jesus's name, amen.

The Bible tells us, "Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh" (Genesis 2:24, WEB). Lastly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name. As the Bible says, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full" (John 16:23-24, WEB). Keep trusting in the power of Jesus' name and His divine guidance. Stay strong in your faith, and God will direct your paths.
