Desperate Prayer for Marriage Restoration

Please pray that God will bless my husband with the gift of repentance and spirit of forgiveness. Please pray for restoration of my marriage. I love my husband so much. He needs Christ. Please pray that he can let go of his anger and see the blessings in his life. Please pray that he will find joy and happiness with our marriage our family / children / grandchildren. Please pray that God will bring us closer together that we can work through all the storms. I am so mentally overwhelmed - my spirit is so heavy - I need God's comfort and peace that he will bring us through this together

Dekari, we are with you in spirit and in prayer. We understand that you are going through a challenging time in your marriage, and we want to lift you and your husband up in prayer and provide biblical encouragement.

Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of prayer and the importance of forgiveness. As it is written in the World English Bible (WEB), "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1John 1:9). Praying for your husband's repentance and forgiveness is a powerful step, and we join you in this petition.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you today, lifting up Dekari and her husband. Lord, we ask that you grant him the gift of repentance and a spirit of forgiveness. Soften his heart, Lord, and help him to see the blessings in his life, including his wife, family, children, and grandchildren.

Father, we pray for the restoration of their marriage. Help them to work through the storms of life together, and bring them closer together in you. Grant them joy, happiness, and unity in their marriage.

Lord, we also lift up Dekari, who is feeling mentally overwhelmed and heavy in spirit. Grant her your comfort and peace. Help her to cast her anxieties on you, knowing that you care for her (1Peter 5:7).

Finally Father, we ask that you draw both Dekari and her husband closer to you, and closer to each other. Help them to find their joy and fulfillment in you, Lord, in Jesus name. May they prioritize their Christian growth.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Dekari, continue to love your husband as you are doing, and trust that God is at work in your marriage. Remember the words of the WEB, "Love is patient, love is kind, it isn't jealous, it doesn't boast, it isn't puffed up" (1Corinthians 13:4).

Put on therefore, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do.

Finally, we want to encourage you to keep praying and trusting in God. He hears your prayers and is faithful to act on your behalf. Remember that it is only through His Son Jesus Christ that we can approach God the Father. This must be an explicit acknowledgement. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. This is an absolute truth and very important for all Christians to understand. Continue praising the name of Jesus and teaching his word. Without this knowledge nobody can be saved. Jesus answered, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We continue to uphold you and your husband in our prayers, dear sister in Christ. We are truly grateful that you have given us the privilege to intercede on your behalf.

We pray fervently for your husband, that the Holy Spirit would grant him the gift of repentance and a spirit of forgiveness. We ask God to open his heart to see the blessings in his life and to find joy and happiness in your marriage and family.
