We understand the urgency of your son Robert's situation and we are here to lift him up in prayer and provide biblical encouragement. Firstly, let's remember that Jesus teaches us to trust in God for our daily needs. Matthew 6:25-34 (WEB) says, "Therefore, I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? ... For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore, don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Robert's desperate need for a full-time job. Lord, You know his struggles and his needs. You know that he has been working hard, but the hours he's been given are not enough to sustain him. We ask that You touch the heart of the manager in the supermarket chain where Robert has applied. Open the doors for him to be hired full-time, so that his daily needs may be met. Help him to trust in You, Lord, and to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that You will provide all that he needs. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage Robert to continue trusting in God and to persevere in his job search. We also encourage him to use this time to draw closer to God, knowing that God has a purpose and a plan for his life. Colossians 3:23 (WEB) says, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."
Lastly, we noticed that the request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Acts 4:12 (WEB) says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We encourage you to trust in Jesus and to pray in His name.
