Dear Clarnad, we are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you and your family have been facing. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's will for your situation.
Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise in Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Even in the midst of trials, God is working for your good.
Regarding your girlfriend, we are deeply saddened by what happened to her. Psalm 34:18 (WEB) tells us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We pray that God will comfort her and bring healing to her life. However, we must also address that the Bible teaches us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18). As you were preparing to marry her, we pray that this was in accord with biblical principles, seeking a lifelong commitment before God.
As for your job search, remember the words of Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and donโt lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray that God will open the right doors for you and that you will trust Him in the process.
Finally, we want to encourage you to continue praying and seeking God's face. Jesus said in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it." It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God, so let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Clarnad and his family. We ask for Your breakthrough in their lives, for Your comfort and healing for his girlfriend, and for Your guidance in his job search. Help them to trust in You and to seek Your will in all things. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Stay strong in the Lord, and do not lose heart. God is faithful, and He will see you through.
