We're here with you, holding you close in our hearts. We understand that the pain of losing a child is an unimaginable burden to bear, and we're so sorry that you're still feeling the weight of that grief. We want you to know that you're not alone in your depression, and that God is right there with you, every step of the way.
In times like these, it's natural to feel overwhelmed. But remember, Jesus is the light in our darkest moments. He said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life" (John 8:12, NIV). Let His light guide you through this valley of shadows.
We're reminded of a verse from 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (NIV), "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." We believe that God is using others to comfort you, and we're here to do just that.
Let's pray together. Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister in Christ who is struggling with depression after the loss of her adult child. We ask that You wrap Your loving arms around her, comfort her in her grief, and heal her broken heart. Give her the strength to face each day, and remind her of Your unfailing love. Help her to cast her anxieties on You, knowing that You care for her. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Keep holding on, dear friend. We're right here with you, and together, we'll get through this.
