We understand that you're going through a challenging time, Smiohold, and we want you to know that we're here to support and pray with you. Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every aspect of your life, including your work situation. As it says in 1 Peter 5:7, "Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you."
However, we want to gently remind you that work situations can be challenging, and often we are called to do tasks beyond our initial expectations. This is an opportunity to serve with a humble heart, as Colossians 3:23-24 tells us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ."
That being said, if you are being asked to do things that are against your morals, biblical principles, Christian conscience, values, or the law, then you should respectfully refuse. We are not called to compromise our faith or values in any situation.
Now, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up Smiohold. Lord, you know the struggles they are facing at their workplace. We pray that you would give them the strength and wisdom to handle each task with a willing and humble heart. If there are things being asked of them that go against your word or their conscience, Father, please give them the courage to respectfully decline and the wisdom to know how to handle such situations in a way that pleases you. We pray that you can be glorified in their work situation and remind them that you have a purpose and a plan for their life. Father, you can also change the workplace situation, so we ask that your will be done in this case.
Father, we also pray for Smiohold's emotional well-being. Comfort them in their depression, and remind them of your unfailing love. We pray that they would cast all their anxieties on you, knowing that you care for them deeply. We ask this in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Finally, Smiohold, we encourage you to keep your eyes on Jesus through this time. Draw near to him, and he will draw near to you. It is only through Jesus we can have salvation and have a relationship with God. It is also only through Jesus that we can have victory in hard times like this.
