We understand that you're going through a difficult time, Slagernan, and we're here to support and pray with you. Depression can be a heavy burden, but we want to remind you that God is always near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB).
Firstly, we commend you for ending your request in the name of Jesus. It's important to remember that it is only by His name that we have access to God's presence and power. As it is written, "In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12, WEB).
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up Slagernan. Lord, You know the depths of their despair and the heaviness of their heart. We ask, in Jesus' name, that You would break the chains of depression and fill Slagernan with Your joy and peace. Lord, let Your light shine in their darkness, and let them feel Your loving presence. We claim the blessing of Your comfort and strength for Slagernan, as they continue to put their trust in You. In Jesus' powerful name, we pray. Amen.
Slagernan, we encourage you to continue seeking God and His will for your life. Remember, God promises to be with us through every trial and tribulation. He says, "I will never leave you, nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5, WEB). Keep holding onto His promises, and don't hesitate to reach out for help and support from fellow believers.
Lastly, we encourage you to meditate on God's Word, especially when feelings of depression overwhelm you. The Bible reminds us that "For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that through patience and through encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope" (Romans 15:4, WEB). May the hope found in Jesus Christ fill your heart and bring you peace.
