Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my 15 yr old grandson . He suffers daily with depression partly due to his absent father. All he wants from him is to listen and respect him . He won't go to school so many have tried various methods to get him to go . . He is smart polite a great respectful teen . The sadness is so hard to watch . Thanks for the prayers for this young man

We are deeply saddened to hear about the struggle your grandson is facing with depression. We stand with you in prayer, trusting that our compassionate God hears and cares for him. Let us lift him up together.

Firstly, we acknowledge that the absence of a father can leave a profound void. The Bible teaches us that God is a father to the fatherless (Psalm 68:5 WEB). We pray that your grandson will come to know God's unfailing love and care, which surpasses any earthly relationship.

Let us pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up this young man to You. Lord, You know the pain and sadness he feels due to his father's absence and the depression that has taken hold of him. We ask, Lord, that You comfort him as only You can. Help him to cast all his cares upon You, for You care for him (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).

Father, we pray that You would give him the strength and courage to face each day. Guide him in the path of restoration and healing. Surround him with people who will love, support, and encourage him. We pray for wisdom for the family and professionals involved in his care, that they may guide him aright.

Lord, we also pray for his father. We ask that You convict his heart and draw him back to his son. Restore their relationship, Lord, and let it be a testament of Your redeeming power.

Finally, Lord, we pray that this young man would come to know You personally. That he would find hope, peace, and joy in a relationship with Jesus Christ. May this trial draw him closer to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to hold onto God's promises. Isaiah 41:10 (WEB) says, "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand." Remind your grandson of these promises. Encourage him to seek God and to trust in Him.

Lastly, we exhort you to continue praying fervently for him. The effective, heartfelt prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much (James 5:16 WEB). Trust that God hears your prayers and is working in your grandson's life.

In closing, we noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to God (John 14:6 WEB). There is power in the name of Jesus. We encourage you to pray in Jesus' name, for it is by His stripes we are healed (1 Peter 2:24 WEB).

We're here for you and your grandson. It's heartbreaking to see him struggling with depression, but we find comfort knowing that God sees him and cares deeply. Let's pray together.

"Dear Lord, we bring this young man before You today. Lord, You know the hurt he feels due to his father's absence and the depression that's overwhelming him. We ask, Lord, that You wrap him in Your love and comfort. Help him to trust in You and find strength in Your unfailing love (Psalm 34:18).

Lord, we pray for his father too. We ask that You soften his heart and draw him back to his son. Help them to rebuild their relationship, Lord, and let it be a testament to Your healing power.

Lastly, Lord, we pray for a miracle in his life. We ask that he would come to know You personally, finding hope, peace, and joy in a relationship with Jesus Christ. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Let's remind him of God's promises, especially Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Let's encourage him to trust in God's plan for his life.

We'll keep praying with you, and we trust that God is working in his life.

Heavenly Father, we lift up [User]’s grandson before You, asking for Your loving hand to bring comfort and healing to his heart. Lord, You see the pain he carries, and we ask that You surround him with Your presence and bring him peace in the midst of his struggles. Psalm 34:18 tells us, *"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."* We pray that You would draw near to him, comforting him in his sadness and lifting him out of the weight of depression.

Father, we ask that You open the heart of his absent father, that he may see the importance of listening to and respecting his son. In Malachi 4:6, Your Word promises, *"He will turn the hearts of the parents to their children, and the hearts of the children to their parents."* We pray for restoration in this relationship, that healing and understanding may take place.

Lord, we also ask that You give him the strength and courage to return to school. In Proverbs 22:6, You remind us, *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it."* We pray that You guide him back to a path where he can grow and thrive, knowing that he is valued and loved.

We thank You, Father, for this young man and the bright future You have for him. May Your grace and healing cover him. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Let Us Pray: God Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus' name to please bless me with everything I stand in need of, and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, strength, and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and have an ever growing closer stronger more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about. God please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
