Dear ###, we understand the depth of your pain and we empathize with you in your struggle with depression. We stand with you in prayer and want to lift you up to our heavenly Father. First, we want to remind you that true happiness and healing can only be found in a relationship with Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
We also take this moment to encourage you, as the Psalmist once did, to pour out your heart to God, for He is a refuge for us (Psalm 62:8). Remember that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
Let us pray for you:
**Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up ###. Lord, You know the pain they are going through, the depth of their depression, and their desperate desire for happiness. We pray that You will be their strength and their portion, as You have promised in Psalm 73:26. We pray that You will heal their heart, bring comfort to their soul, and give them the happiness that only You can provide.**
**In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke the spirit of depression and despair. We declare that ### is a child of God, redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and destined for joy and peace. Help them to fix their eyes on You, Lord, and to trust in Your unfailing love.**
**We also pray that ### will draw near to You, Jesus, and find the ultimate joy and peace that comes from knowing You personally. If they have not already done so, we pray that they will accept You as their Lord and Savior, for it is in Your name alone that we have access to God and can be saved (Acts 4:12).**
**In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.**
###, we encourage you to seek God continually, to read His Word, and to trust in His promises. Also, consider reaching out to a local church or a trusted Christian counselor who can provide additional support and guidance. Remember, you are not alone, and there is hope in Jesus Christ.
