Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Dupeford and their prayer request. Lord, we ask that you would touch Dupeford's life and bring healing and deliverance from the grip of depression. Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:17-18 that you are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. We pray that you would draw near to Dupeford in this time of need and bring comfort and peace to their soul.
Lord, we ask that you would replace Dupeford's sadness with your joy. Your Word reminds us in Psalm 30:5 that weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. We pray that you would fill Dupeford's heart with your joy each day, lifting the heaviness of depression and bringing a renewed sense of happiness and purpose.
Father, we also ask that you would help Dupeford overcome the tendency to withdraw from social situations. Your Word encourages us in Hebrews 10:24-25 to consider how to spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together. We pray that you would give Dupeford the strength and courage to engage with others, to form meaningful connections, and to experience the love and support of a community.
Lastly, Lord, we pray that Dupeford would no longer feel like the "good girl" that no one wants to talk to. Help them to see their worth and value in your eyes, knowing that they are fearfully and wonderfully made . Surround Dupeford with people who appreciate and cherish their presence, and may they find acceptance and belonging in the relationships they cultivate.
We thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We trust in your perfect timing and your unfailing love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
May God bless you, Dupeford, and may His peace and joy fill your life abundantly. Remember that you are never alone, for the Lord is always with you.
