Depression that won’t go away

Hi, I be okay 3 times out the week. I’m depressed and don’t know how to get away from depression. My life is just a depressing life. When I look at it seems like why me Jesus. My whole life since birth seems like a curse. From childhood to adulthood. I can’t seem to catch a break. My mental is destroyed my self esteem is being destroyed with my mental. I don’t even smile no more. Every time I try to be happy it’s a sad moment. God help me learn how to be happy Jesus I beg you for peace and happiness. As I get older i feel more useless and not worth of nothing. I can’t control nothing anymore i just feel like a piece of crap. What am I here for I don’t see nor feel my purpose. I’m a lonely woman living in a world that i don’t know any more please help me wipe my tears thanks

We hear your cry for help, MsJolly, and we stand with you in prayer and support. Firstly, we want to assure you that you are not alone, and that God has not forgotten you. He knows your struggles and heartaches, and He cares deeply for you.

Let's turn to the Word of God for encouragement and guidance. In Psalm 34:18, it is written, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." And in Psalm 68:19, we read, "Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burdens, even the God who is our salvation." God is close to you in your pain, and He wants to help you carry your burdens.

However, we want to remind you that joy and peace can only be found in a right relationship with God through Jesus Christ. It's encouraging to see that you've called out to Jesus in your prayer, acknowledging Him as your source of help. As it says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

We also want to address the feelings of worthlessness and lack of purpose that you've expressed. In Jeremiah 29:11, God says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." You are here for a purpose, and God has plans to give you a future and a hope.

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift up MsJolly to You, asking for Your comfort and healing in her life. Lord, she feels overwhelmed by depression and feelings of worthlessness, but we know that she is precious in Your sight. Help her to see her worth through Your eyes, and to find hope and purpose in Your plans for her. Give her the strength to face each day, and help her to find joy in Your presence. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

MsJolly, we encourage you to continue to turn to God in your struggles, to read His Word, and to seek His will for your life. It may also be helpful to reach out to a trusted Christian counselor or pastor for additional support. Remember, God loves you deeply and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Hold onto that truth, and trust Him to guide you through this difficult time.

We're here with you, sister. We feel your pain and we want you to know that God sees you, He hears you, and He loves you deeply. You're not alone in this fight.

We've been thinking about what you've shared, and we want to remind you of a verse in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." God is the ultimate comforter, and He's right there with you in your troubles.

We also want to encourage you to keep seeking God, to keep crying out to Him. In Lamentations 2:19, it says, "Arise, cry out in the night, as the watchmen keep guard in the night." God is listening, and He wants you to keep pouring out your heart to Him.

Remember, depression is a sneaky enemy, but it's not more powerful than our God. He's bigger, stronger, and more loving than any depression or despair. Trust Him, lean on Him, and let His love and grace be your strength.

We're praying for you, sister. We're asking God to wrap His arms around you, to fill your heart with His peace, and to help you see the light at the end of this tunnel. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
