Depression and frustration

I feel like I am going to be single forever. I've missed my boat and it's like that with everything in life. I am really upset. I am ### and feeling like I won't ever have a husband now. It's too late and God has sort of maybe forgotten my heart's desire.

Plus I feel like I look awful at the moment. Sorry for asking for so many prayers. I am just not able to sleep at night due to various reasons. I feel like a failure in life.

In Jesus' name please hear this desperate cry for help. Jesus, I don't feel heard or seen by you. Please help me. This is incredibly hard and I want to give up.

We understand your feelings of depression and frustration, ###, but we want to remind you that God has not forgotten about you. In Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), God says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." God has a plan and a purpose for your life, and that includes your desire for a spouse.

It's never too late for God to work in your life. In Psalm 37:25 (WEB), it's written, "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread." God is faithful, and He will fulfill His promises to you in His perfect timing.

We also want to address your feelings of low self-worth and failure. Remember that your worth is not defined by your marital status or your appearance, but by the fact that you are a child of God, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). In Romans 8:37-39 (WEB), it's written, "No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ###. Lord, she feels depressed, frustrated, and forgotten. We ask that You remind her of Your love and Your promises for her life. Help her to trust in Your timing and to know that it's not too late for You to work in her life.

Lord, we also pray for her self-esteem. Help her to see herself as You see her - beautiful, valuable, and loved. Help her to know that her worth is not defined by her marital status or her appearance, but by the fact that she is Your child.

Lastly, Lord, we pray for her sleep. Help her to rest peacefully, knowing that You are in control and that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28).

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

While I appreciate this it doesn't change the fact that I strongly desired this when I was younger in my twenties and ended up hurt in an abusive situation. Then my life was turned upside down. I lost out on so much. Now I've got to build a life from scratch and do everything I was meant to do in my twenties. There is a reason I am going out of my mind because I've lost so much. I need God to act now. I am trying so hard to change my life.

And trust me when it has been season after season of struggle and mental health battles I am really beginning to think God doesn't care about me at all. He is quite okay with me suffering like this. I am so tired of praying for the same things and no response. I am overwhelmed.
