Depression and confusion

Hello everyone, Could you please pray for Collen who is depressed, mentally and emotionally disturbed..May Jesus touch him again snd return his heart to him.

Thank you for bringing this request to our attention. We will stand with you in prayer for Collen.

We are reminded in Psalm 34:18 (WEB), "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." God is indeed close to Collen right now, and we can take comfort in knowing that He cares deeply for Him.

However, we want to address that while it is good to ask that Jesus would touch Collen again. Jesus Christ dwells within a believer. The believer is the temple of God. Jesus should never leave a believer since the Holy Spirit is the guarantee of our inheritance. So, the request should be that Jesus Christ would draw close to him without the implication that Jesus would ever leave him.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up Collen in his time of need. We know Your heart of love and compassion for him and believe it is Your will that he would be restored.

We pray that he would turn to You, Lord, and that You would draw close to him as You have promised in Your word. We also pray that Your Holy Spirit would be at work in his life to bring comfort and healing but also conviction of sin. We also pray on the basis of James 5:16 (WEB), "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."

We stand against any spiritual forces that may be causing this confusion and pray that he would put his whole hope in You, Lord. Please surround him with Your love, and give him the strength to overcome this difficult time.

We're here with you, praying for Collen too. It's so hard to see someone we care about struggling with depression and confusion. Let's remind ourselves and Collen of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." God is close to him, and He's working in his life even now.

We're not just asking Jesus to touch Collen again, but to draw near to him, to fill him with His presence and love. Let's pray that Collen would feel God's comfort, that he would find peace in Jesus' embrace, and that he would have the strength to trust in God's care, even in the midst of this storm.

Let's also pray for those around Collen, that they would be a source of support and encouragement, and that they too would find comfort and strength in God's love.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
