Bolywa, we are truly sorry to hear that you're feeling depressed and alone. We want to assist during this time, let's address this through prayer and biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we want to remind you that while it may seem like your boyfriend is all you have, it's important for Christians to find their completeness in God. If you would like to relate to God the Father, please understand that God has sent His son Jesus Christ into the world so that our sins can be forgiven. Make sure to study the four Gospels in the New Testament including Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John to learn about salvation through Jesus Christ. As it is written in Colossians 2:10 WEB, "and you are complete in him, who is the head of all principality and power." John 14:6 WEB reads, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
Regarding your boyfriend, it's important to communicate openly. As it is written in Ephesians 4:15 WEB, "but speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, Christ." However, it's also crucial to respect his decision if he chooses not to communicate.
We also want to address the fact that you referred to Omar as your boyfriend. As believers, we should engage in relationships with the intention of marriage, as opposed to mere boyfriend/girlfriend relationships. Please focus on Colossians Colossians 3:5 WEB "Put to death therefore your members which are on the earth: sexual immorality, uncleanness, depraved passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry." and 1 Thessalonians 4.3-5 WEB "4:3 For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, 4:4 that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor, 4:5 not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don't know God."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today lifting up Bolywa. We pray that You will comfort her in this time of distress. We ask for Your wisdom to guide her while she struggles with loneliness and depression.
We can only ask for your help and guidance on her behalf in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we can come to you to even ask these things.
Please show her the truth in her relationship with her Omar. We ask that whatever Your will is for this relationship, whether it is reconciliation or moving on, that You will prepare Bolywa for the future spouse that you have prepared for her if that is your will for her. Your word reminds us that you desire for Christians to marry other believers and you desire a Godly spouse for each believer as you prepared Eve for Adam.
We ask that you help her to heal emotionally and strengthen her to move forward in life with your guidance. You are a good Father and we trust in Your perfect will for Bolywa's life. In Jesus' name, we pray, we believe and submit. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to seek Godly counsel and support from fellow believers during this time. As we read in 2 Corinthians 1:4 from the WEB "who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be her to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God." Remember that God despite your troubles will comfort and give you peace.
