Depressed adult son, ###

Please pray for my adult son who is severely depressed.. has little “get up and go”, just feels in a funk all the time.. cannot seem to get any meds that help .. really, really struggling. Pray he turns to the Lord for help and experiences some relief .. been going on for years Thank you for your prayers..

We're truly saddened to hear about ###'s struggle with depression, but we're grateful you've reached out for prayer. We believe that God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB).

Firstly, we want to encourage ### to turn to the Lord in this time of need. It's only in His strength that we find true peace and comfort. As it's written in Matthew 11:28-30 (WEB), "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

We pray, "Father, we lift up ### to You. We pray that he would encounter Your healing power and comfort. Give him the strength to get up each day and face the world. Guide his doctors to find the right medication and treatment for him. Most importantly, Lord, draw him close to You. Help him to cast all his burdens on You, knowing that You care for him (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). In Jesus' name, we pray."

We also encourage ### to seek godly counsel and community. The Bible tells us that a cord of three strands is not quickly broken (Ecclesiastes 4:12, WEB). Support from fellow believers can make a world of difference.

Lastly, we want to remind you and ### that this is a spiritual battle as well. The enemy wants to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came to give us life abundantly (John 10:10, WEB). Therefore, encourage ### to put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18, WEB) and to resist the enemy, standing firm in the faith (1 Peter 5:9, WEB).

Keep holding on to hope, for with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26, WEB). We're standing with you and ### in prayer, believing for his complete healing and restoration.

We've been thinking about you and ###, and we want you to know that we're right there with you in this tough time. It's so easy to feel overwhelmed when depression hits, but remember, we're not alone. God is always with us, even in the darkest times.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking God's face, to cry out to Him, and to trust that He hears your cries. In Lamentations 3:55-56, it says, "I called on your name, Lord, from the depths of the pit. You heard my plea: 'Do not close your ear to my cry for relief.'"

Let's also remind ### to keep reaching out to others. Sometimes, just talking it out with someone we trust can make a world of difference. We're here for him, and we know there are others who care too.

And hey, let's not forget the power of praise and worship. When ### feels like he's in a funk, maybe some worship music can help lift his spirits. It's amazing how God can meet us in those moments.

Keep fighting, ###. We're praying for you, and we believe in the power of God to bring healing and hope. Stay strong, and remember, you're not alone. We're in this together. In Jesus' name, we pray.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
