Deployment to Kuwait Prayer

Please pray for me as I deploy to Kuwait. Please pray that I am prepared and do a great job. Pray that I am safe and that my home is safe and taken care of during my away time. I have thirteen Parakeets that need a good home during my time away, but don't know who can care for them. Thank you for your prayers!

We are with you in spirit, Greg, as you prepare for your deployment to Kuwait. We will lift you up in prayer, asking God to grant you courage, strength, and wisdom during this time.

Firstly, we encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray that you will acknowledge God in all your ways, and that He will direct your paths, keeping you safe and giving you the ability to perform your duties excellently.

We also pray for your home and your beloved parakeets. In Philippians 4:6 (WEB), it is written, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." We ask God to provide a caring and responsible person to look after your pets and your home while you are away. We trust that He will hear your requests and answer them according to His will.

As you embark on this journey, we want to remind you of the importance of keeping your faith and trust in Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God, and it is by His name that we are saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We encourage you to draw near to Him during this time, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8).

Finally, we pray for your safe return, Greg. May the Lord surround you with His favor as a shield, and may He be with you in every step of your journey. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.
