Depending On You Heavenly Father

Lord, let me follow after you wholeheartedly – full of your Spirit. Please make me like Caleb, who wasn’t afraid of the enemy or how things looked. Instead, he trusted in you, believing in what you had said and your ability to defeat the enemy. Grant me faith in you and courage to go forward to take hold of my inheritance in you. Protect me from discouragement, fear and unbelief. I am not relying on myself. I am relying on you for everything. I am relying on your wisdom, your strength and your perseverance. Do whatever it takes to keep me walking in complete dependence on you! Your grace is sufficient for me. I have felt so weak and tired lately – empty and incapable. I thank you for even this because it reminds me that you are my Perfect Provision. In you I have everything I need! Fill me with you, Lord. As I decrease, may you increase until you take up every space! My body is weak, so I am relying on your Spirit. Keep me awake and alert. Help me to pray. Pray for me and through me. Lead me on your path. When I am tired, carry me. Build me up on you and in you. I love you, O Lord, my strength! You are my Life now and forevermore! In Jesus’ name – Amen.

The consolation is in knowing that we don’t have to walk through life alone. We have a loving God who knows, sees and cares about everything that concerns us.
 
Over the last several years, I have gone through some pretty rough moments, but I’m still here.
 
With maturity, I have come to know and accept the fact that we will cry sometimes. There will be some sleepless nights. There will be times when dark days seem endless and hail storms beat upon us mercilessly.
 
Troubling circumstances will come to weaken our resolve and knock us down.
 
But God, who is our constant and faithful companion, will help us through it.
 
He is our only hope of getting past the tough, turbulent seasons when our plans are toppled and our lives devastated.
 
When the flood waters of tribulation threaten to wash our worst fears ashore, while drowning out our faith, Jesus is our rock.
 
When it gets too painful, He is able to absorb the brunt of the impact from the crashing waves that forcefully thrust themselves against us.
 
Because of Him, we have hope and help along this steep uphill journey called life.
 
Today, if you are feeling weary and worn, remember that You have a refuge in God. He is your strength and faithful defense. All you have to do is turn to Him and trust Him.
 
If we lose anything or everything, He is our constant companion. He will never leave nor forsake us.
To remind you of this, Proverbs 18:24 , that says, “One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.â€
 
Realize that human friends are wonderful, if you can find loyal ones. But there will never be anyone who understands, loves, and embraces you unconditionally the way God does.
 
As you are faced with harsh realities and setbacks—both major and minor—know you are not in this thing by yourself. The Lord is with you through hard times and easy; good and bad; joyful and sorrowful.
 
There will never be a friend as near and dear to you as Jesus.
 
He loves you and He’ll keep you steady through shaky times.
 
So remember, when trials hit hardest, God is your stabilizing rock through the rockiest times.
 
God, life can be tricky sometimes. Some days are good and others are terribly hard. Today, I am asking for Your strength and assistance as I navigate my way through everything. Teach me to trust You to bring me through anything, my friend, my redeemer, my rock! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

David wrote this psalm of thanksgiving to the Lord when he and the people of Israel brought the Ark of the Covenant back to Jerusalem. From the overflow of David’s heart, we learn how we also can worship God.
 
Give thanks to the LORD – Every good and perfect gift comes from God. God alone deserves the thanks for the many blessings we enjoy.
Call on His name – We worship God when we call out to Him, when we acknowledge that only He has the power to save us.
Make know among the nations what He has done – We honor God when we spread the good news: Jesus died to save you and me.
Sing to Him, sing praise to Him – Singing to God not only glorifies Him, but also reminds us of our place. Humility in turn makes our hearts overflow with praise to God.
Tell of all His wonderful acts – God gave each of us a story to tell. We exalt Him when we share how He changes us, day by day.
Glory in His holy name – Take delight in the God of heaven. He delights in you!
Let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice – Let gladness and hope fill you because the God of the universe reveals Himself to those who seek Him.
Look to the LORD and His strength – Whatever you need, God is able to supply.
Seek His face always – Continue to look to God for all you need. Continue to pursue God with all your heart and soul and mind and strength.
 
Thank you God, for all You have done. You are the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Your works are wonderful. May I speak today of how great You are. Amen.

There are many great and precious promises in the Bible. In the Book of John Chapters 14, 15, and 16 we are told by the Lord that God will give us what we ask for in the name of Jesus. In Matthew Chapter 7 we are told, "Ask, and it shall be given you." The 37th Psalm tells us that He will give us the "desires of our heart."

Today, I want to give you a promise in the Bible that will literally transform your life. They are six words spoken by Jesus that can make all the difference in your life this very moment. Individually, they are just six common words but put together as they were by our Lord, they give us one of the greatest promises we have in God's Word. This is YOUR promise today!

"All things are possible with God!" (Mark 10:27)

Jesus didn't say some things . . . He didn't say a few things . . . He didn't say a couple of things . . . He didn't say selected things . . . He didn't say certain things . . . HE SAID ALL THINGS!!!! You better be standing right now because God is about to touch your life.

That means if you are sick in your body, God can heal you! That means if you need a financial miracle, God is your source! That means if your marriage is in trouble, God can restore it! That means is you need a job, God can open the doors for employment! That means if you are in some form of bondage, God can set you free! That means if your children are away from God, God can bring them home! That means if you have lost a loved one, God can ease the pain! No matter what your need is today, God is able to meet that need!

YOUR promise today is six words from Jesus, "ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH GOD!"

I want you to take a moment right now and pray about the most important thing you need from God today. There is not one person who is reading this that doesn't need something from God. If you could ask God for anything, anything at all, what would it be? The fact is, you CAN ask God for anything. You have been told in His Word to ask for anything, so now it is time.

I want you to focus on the one thing that you want from God and pray this simple prayer. "Dear God, I know that your Word is true and I believe today that all things are possible with You. I want (insert here the one thing you want from God). In Jesus name. Amen!"

Now is the time to make your faith real and believe God's Word. There is nothing wrong in your life today that God can't fix. I want you to know that I will be standing in agreement with you for the one thing that you have asked God for today. I am believing with you for that need you prayed for to be met. Remember God's promise for you today, "ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH GOD!!!"

I  don’t know what your story is , but I encourage you to trust God even when you don't understand what’s happening in your life.

 
You may not understand life and all that’s happening; but God will give you a piece to the puzzle as you learn to step out on faith, trust and obey him.
 
Don’t let the devil fool you into believing that you’re taking a step backwards in life or that you’ll never make it out of this situation; because you will. What you’re going through is temporary.
 
Encourage yourself in the Lord daily; read His word; pray without ceasing and seek His face. The next time you find yourself in a position where you are stressed and worried about what God is doing in your life remember to:

1. Consider the Source
2. Trust the Lord
3. Be Obedient
4. Trust God to Lead You

Prayer for Trusting God’s When You Don’t Understand LifeHeavenly Father,
I ask that you place within me your obedient spirit so that I may be obedient to your instruction. Help me Lord to walk by faith and not by sight. I don’t understand what you’re doing in my life, but I make a decision to trust you God.
In this season, I ask that you place within me your spirit of joy, peace and rest. Give me joy; peace and rest to endure all that comes my way. Right now, I make a decision to trust you Lord because I know that you’re in control of my life even when my life seems to be out of control.
 
Lord, I thank you for clarity, guidance, provision and strength. I pray and ask for these things in Jesus name; Amen.
 
Pray and stay in the word of God. There is strength for you in the word of God. Trust the Lord and be obedient even when
you don’t understand life and what God is doing. Be blessed and encouraged in Jesus name.
Be reminded to take your focus off your circumstances or anyone you might feel is responsible for what you’re going through. Know that, as long as you are living righteously before God, obeying His commands and doing His will, His plan for your life will come together.
 
Just as His word assures in Romans 8:28, you can be confident that all things truly will work out for your good in the end! Trust Him.
 
God, I’ve seen a lot of hard days and endured what seemed like unfair circumstances. But today, I choose not to dwell on all that has gone wrong. Rather, I choose to trust that You will make it alright. I believe, as Jeremiah 29:11 says, that Your plans for me are good, just as You are.

Father, we bring our troubles to you. We cry out to you, please answer our prayers. Rescue us, O Lord, from liars and from all deceitful people. We are tired of living among people who hate peace. We seek your peace. Please fill us with your peace today!

Lord God, it is much better to get wisdom than gold, and good judgment than silver! Please impart your wisdom to us today. Keep us on the path of the virtuous which leads away from evil for whoever follows that path is safe. Father, keep us safe was we follow you and seek to do your will today.

Lord Jesus, we praise you and give all honor and glory to you our Savior. Thank you for the accurate account of your life and ministry in the gospels. Jesus you have done so many miraculous things that if they were all written down the whole world could not contain the books that would be written. You never stopped working miracles and you never will. You are the same then, now and always. Lord Jesus, we love you, we will follow you, and we will feed your sheep. Feed us, prepare us, and equip us to meet needs in your name Lord Jesus. Amen.
