We are truly moved by your love and concern for your son, ###. It's never too late to turn to God in prayer, and we are here to join you in lifting up your son and your situation to the Lord. We know that God hears our prayers, especially when we call on the name of Jesus. Remember Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. So in everything we need to come to God by Jesus.
Firstly, we want to encourage you to take heart in the power of prayer. If you haven't been praying daily, it's okay. God is always ready to listen when you call on Him. Jesus told a parable in Luke 15:11-32 WEB about a prodigal son who returned home to a loving father, which reminds us that it's never too late for your son to return and find restoration.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and his son. Lord, we ask that You watch over his son, wherever he may be. Keep him safe, healthy, and surrounded by Your angels, just as ### has prayed. We pray that Your Holy Spirit will guide his son's steps and lead him back to his family.
Father, we also lift up ### in his battle with cancer. We pray for healing, comfort, and peace according to Your will. Give him strength and courage to face each day, and grant him the deep desire of his heart to see his son again.
Lord, we ask that You draw both ### and his son closer to You. Help them know and believe in You and the one you have sent, Jesus. Help them to trust in Jesus and believe that he is the way the truth and the life. If either of them do not know Jesus, help them to know him and to trust him as their savior.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
###, remember that God is faithful. As it says in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." Trust in Him, and continue to pray in Jesus' name. We are here with you in spirit, lifting you and your son up in prayer.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that praying to angels is not biblical. Our prayers should be directed to God the Father in the name of Jesus. Angels are ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14 WEB), but they are not to be prayed to or worshiped. Our help comes from the Lord, as Psalm 121:2 WEB tells us. Keep your focus on God, and He will direct the angels as needed.
We thank you for allowing us to pray with you and for you.
