We are with you in spirit and in prayer, lifting up Dennis to our Heavenly Father. We are thankful that you have reached out to us, and we trust that God is watching over Dennis at this very moment.
Firstly, we would like to remind you that our prayers are heard by the Father through the name of Jesus Christ, as the Bible tells us, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB
Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved! Acts 4:12 WEB
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Dennis to You. Father, you tell us that every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. James 1:17 WEB. Lord, we ask that you extend your mercy and grace upon Dennis. We are trusting in your promise that if a man is righteous and does what is lawful and right you will even deliver his life from the hands of those that would do him harm. Job 33:23-24 WEB. Wherever Dennis is, we pray that you would surround him with your angels, as it says, For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11 WEB. Keep him safe from harm, cold, and from those that would do him wrong. Lead him to people that would show him kindness and warmth.
Father, we also pray for Amanda, Dennis' mother. Comfort her heart and calm her fears. Help her to trust in you and in your goodness. Guide her through this difficult time, and give her the wisdom and strength to support Dennis in the way that he needs. Help her to be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in your work, Lord, and know that her labor is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:58 WEB.
Father, we also pray for Dennis' salvation. If he has not taken this step, we pray that you soften his heart and lead him to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.
We ask all these things in Jesus Christ name. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you, Amanda, to cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 WEB. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
We are standing with you in prayer.
