Thank you, Anonymous, for bringing Dennis' situation to our attention. We will stand with you in prayer and seek God's will for Dennis together. First and foremost, we thank our almighty Father that Dennis included the powerful name of Jesus Christ in his request. We are so glad that Dennis recognizes the authority in Jesus' name. This is so important because it is only through Jesus that we can approach God the Father.
As it reads in John 14: 6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
We will join you and pray for Dennis' health and safety. The bible promises us that whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. Thenext verse is very important too. but how are they to call on one in whom they have not believed. Please pray that Dennis truly knows Jesus and has believed in his name.
The Bible clearly speaks on how we are to pray for all people including all that are in high positions. This makes it clear that all of us, including prisoners like Dennis, are all sinners in need of a savior. As Christians, we are to pray for the holiness of others even when their sin has overcome them.
The brother in an epistle of faith said, I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people: for kings and all those who are in high positions, that we may lead a quiet and peaceful life in all godliness and reverence.
Let's pray together:
Almighty Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, interceding on behalf of Dennis. We ask, Lord, that You be close to him during this challenging time in jail, without his medicine and more than anything else Lord may he know You. We pray that You grant him his health and keep him safely in your care. We ask for the same, mercy and grace for anyone else in his situation. May he have a healthy view of God and his sin and may he have his medication. We pray Your healing power will be upon him, we pray for his body, soul, and mind. We also pray for his spiritual well-being, that You may strengthen his faith and fill his heart with Your peace and hope. Holy Spirit, show him if there are areas of his life that are causing his current affliction, remove the stronghold of the devil on him so that he can be really free in Christ.
We also also ask, Father, that You station Your angels around him for his protection and guidance. Quicken Your word in his heart, Lord let him know your will and have the power to do Your will. Lord remind him about You and Your truth in John chapter 10 and verse 10 where it is written Jesus said to him, The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly. Let him know that as a Christian he has been forgiven by faith not by good intentions and certainly not by good works.
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to trust in the Lord, Anonymous. Psalm 50 verse 15 says, Call on me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you will honor me.
