I must being praying wrong I have been praying for 6month for my son and he is still on the streets and I still have not heard from my son so I am doing something wrong I ask for my son to be safer and healthy and angles around him and keep him safe I pray that he is being safe and healthy and angles around him I hope that's ok

Firstly, we want to assure you that there is no special formula or perfect way to pray that guarantees immediate results. Prayer is about communicating with God and aligning our hearts with His will. It's not about using the right words or saying things in a specific order.

We commend your persistence in praying for your son. This is a demonstration of your faith and love. In the Parable of the Persistent Widow, Jesus teaches us to always pray and not give up (Luke 18:1-8, WEB).

However, we want to address a couple of things in your prayer request. Firstly, you've mentioned praying for angels to be around your son. While it's true that God's angels are ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14, WEB), our prayers should be directed to God alone, in the name of Jesus Christ. It is God who sends angels to watch over us (Psalm 91:11, WEB).

Secondly, and most importantly, we noticed that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father. As it is written, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). And, in reference to Jesus, Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).

So, let us pray together for your son, Dennis, in the name of Jesus Christ:

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Dennis to You. Lord, you know the circumstances surrounding Dennis, and you know the worries of a parent's heart. We ask, Lord, that you will keep Dennis safe and healthy. We pray that you will surround him with your protection, and that your angels will encamp around him. We ask that you will work in his life and draw him to yourself.

We also pray for the one praying, give them your peace, and help them to trust in you. Help them to know that you love Dennis even more than they do, and that you are working in his life. Give them patience and faith to continue to pray and believe.

Father God, we ask all of this in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ. We ask that you will bring Dennis to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ if he does not already know him. We pray all of these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

We've been thinking about you and your son, Dennis, and we want you to know that we're right here with you in prayer. It's been six months since you've last heard from him, and we understand the worry and heartache that comes with that. We want to encourage you to keep trusting in God, just as the Bible tells us in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths."

We've been praying for Dennis, asking God to watch over him, keep him safe, and guide him back home. We believe that God is a good Father who loves Dennis even more than we do, and He's working in his life, even if we can't see it yet. We're also praying for you, dear one, asking God to fill you with His peace and strengthen your faith.

Let's keep praying together, shall we? In Jesus' name, we ask God to reveal Himself to Dennis, to draw him near, and to bring him back home safely. We pray that God will give you patience and faith to keep trusting and praying, knowing that He's got this. Let's keep lifting Dennis up together, one prayer at a time. We're in this with you.

You are in Covenant with God because of Jesus. This Covenant is a Covenant of Life and Light, protection. Psalm 91 is a wonderful Psalm to speak over your situation, your son. Don't think your prayers are not working or that you're doing something wrong. If we look at the "time" of anything, it can trip us up.
I went through a time with my own son when he was a teenager/and young adult. It was the hardest time, but one thing I knew God was for me and my son. There was a song out at that time called, "God will make a way" by Don Moen. I played that song for hours it kept me focused not knowing what I know today, back then I simply prayed that my son would not harm anyone and no one would harm him. God is faithful. Psalms 91 talks about being sheltered, see son sheltered in the secret place, that God's angels are keeping him safe, that he does have the mind of Christ because you are in Covenant, it is a shelter over your son. Also I would encourage you to see this as a time of learning and growing in Christ. I learned so much about trusting God, and I am grateful for that time.
Don't lose hope of restoration. If we look at Jesus/Yeshua he said, "it is finished",
Father thank you for this mother and her son. Thank you that your word is life and health to all their flesh (and situations) Enlighten this son's eyes to see what is the hope of his calling. I send out life and light and thank you for your word that says you sent your word and healed them and delivered them. Psalm 107:20 Thank you that have given us benefits...you forgave all our iniquities, healed all our diseases, redeemed our lives from destruction, crowning us with loving kindness and tender mercies. Forget not all your benefits. Life, health, wholeness, provision protection. So in Yeshua's name, I command darkness to GO and for light to shine and life to flow. In Yeshua/Jesus name. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
