Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this prayer request on behalf of ###. Lord, we pray for ### who is struggling with drug addiction. We ask for your divine intervention in his life, that you would break the chains of addiction and bring him into a place of freedom and restoration.
Your Word reminds us in Psalm 34:17-18 that "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We claim this promise over ###'s life, believing that you are near to him in his struggles and that you will deliver him from the bondage of addiction.
We also pray for his family, especially his parents who are deeply concerned for their son. Comfort them in their distress and grant them wisdom and strength as they support ### through this difficult time. Help them to trust in your unfailing love and to lean on you for guidance and peace.
Lord, we know that nothing is impossible for you. We ask that you would touch ###'s heart, convict him of his need for you, and draw him into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Surround him with godly influences and provide him with the resources and support he needs to overcome his addiction.
We pray all of this in the powerful name of Jesus, believing that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. May your grace and mercy be poured out upon ###, bringing healing, deliverance, and transformation. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
