I came upon this article the other day and wanted to share it with you all. It brought to my memory all the demonic attacks that I have seen, and even been involved with. What he is saying is true!
Please read this and know what you, and many are up against. I have written on this topic before and will always try to teach others of the victory that has been given to each of us. What this is saying is that we have been given all authority over the enemy in Jesus Christ! His authority. The enemy stands not just against you but Jesus Christ Himself who lives in you. So don't ever be afraid. The enemy 'runs away' at the VERY MENTION of the name of JESUS CHRIST. All we need is 'faith' and 'trust' in the Lord.
“The thief (Satan) comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” ~Jesus

Someone messaged me a couple months back telling me that they were praying for me, which I always appreciate. They also said that when they read their Bible they wake up in the morning with scratch marks across their body—scratch marks that look like actual claw marks.
I suggested that they walk throughout their house and verbally bind any demonic force, telling them to get out in the name of Jesus. Christ gives us this right! He says so in Luke 10:19:
“I have given you authority…to overcome the power of the enemy.”
I also recommended that if they had any open “spiritual windows” in their home, such as pornography, drugs, alcohol, (if you’re addicted to it), anything witchcraft, any music with words that glorify hate, greed, or immorality, any activity that they do on a regular basis that goes against God’s Spirit (see Galatians 5:22,23)—or if they were watching stuff on their TV and internet that goes against the gospel all the time—get rid of it! Stop listening to it, stop doing it, and stop watching it.
The Bible says, “the devil goes about like a roaring lion, looking for whom he may devour” (1 Peter 5:8). All of the stuff in our lives that God does not approve of (sin) injures us, in our souls. When we are not conscious of these things, we become just like a baby antelope with a broken leg on the Serengeti—making ourselves easy pickings to the dark part of the spiritual realm! For Christians, no demon can enter us, because Christ is there, but still, they can pester us and make our lives miserable if we allow it.
My friend, please realize this: Our eyes, ears, hands and feet, all lead to our soul. Our soul is the area in which Satan embeds his troops! What is our soul, exactly? It is our mind, free will, and emotions. Not to be confused with our spirit–which is Christ, as a believer–our soul is the customizable part of us, it is always changing based on what we allow it to be fed, regularly.
This is why Paul said, “whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable–if anything is excellent or praiseworthy–think about such things” (see Philippians 4:8).
…So I didn’t hear anything back from this person who messaged me about the scratches on their body, I thought no more about it. Then this morning I had a message in my inbox of actual pictures of this person’s torso, and it was all clawed-up!
The hairs on my neck stand up just typing this. It literally looks like someone slowly and meticulously scratched this person with long nails (they are “in a row” like fingers). And this demon did it while they were asleep!
Now let me make it perfectly clear: I’m not afraid of this by any stretch of the imagination, but when something like his actually happens…it’s not normal. It’s not your everyday Christian experience! This is a moment when the spiritual world PHYSICALLY INTERACTS with us! It’s jarring.
It smacks you in the face and says, “HEY! LOOK! GET OFF YOUR COUCH! THERE IS A BATTLE GOING ON! PLEASE! DO SOMETHING!”
All throughout the Bible demons have physical power, so we can expect the same to happen today as well. In the book of Acts, Chapter 19, there is an account of some people calling on the name of Jesus to cast out a demon, but the demon fights back and says, “I know Jesus, and I know Paul, but I don’t know who you are.” The demon then leapt on them, overpowered them, and the Bible says that they “fled out of the house naked and wounded”! (Acts 19:13-16).
HOWEVER—and I always have a however when things might look scary—JESUS DOMINATED DEMONS IN THE BIBLE! He would squint His eyes at them and say, “Shut up!” They ALWAYS cowered at Him, and BEGGED for mercy! (Luke 10:19, Mark 5:12, Mark 4:24, Mark 1:23-25).
And…guess what? Christ lives in YOU. Yep. If you’ve asked for His forgiveness, and accepted it by grace through faith, He is now SUPERNATURALLY INFUSED with you! (Galatians 2:20, Ephesians 2:8,9). You have the same power of Christ because of your faith in Him! HOW AWESOME IS THAT?! The power of GOD in YOU?!
IT IS SPECTACULAR!!!
Now, this person who sent me the pictures of what this demon had done to them, they have a choice to make: STAND UP TO THE DARKNESS AND KEEP PUSHING FORWARD WITH CHRIST, or, back down, negating the power which lies within. But get this—this is gonna blow your mind:
They said they had stopped reading their Bible because they got busy, but had started reading it again last night; this is when the scratches on their stomach and sides came back!
This demonic force does not want them reading God’s Word! And they don’t want YOU reading it either! BUT DO IT ANYWAY! THIS IS HOW YOU FIGHT THE DARKNESS, WHICH IS WITH LIGHT! By becoming aware of who Jesus really is IN YOU–EVERYTHING CHANGES!!!
And you figure out just what light is, exactly, through the Word of God! IT’S JESUS! His way, His truth, His life ! (John 14:6). He said that He is “the light of the world and that anyone who follows Him will not walk in darkness but have the light of life!” (John 8:12). YEEEEEESSSSSSS!!!!!
So today, my friends, know this: The forces of hell perk up when you start to seek out a deep relationship with Jesus Christ. I’m telling you from experience, you will be attacked. It might not be physically by demons, but Satan will find the best way to get at you, and he’ll hold it over the flames of hell. DON’T GIVE IN! Don’t give up! YOU, yes you, will change the entire world for the better, for Christ!
