Demonized by fake therapy

A therapist asked me for permission to ‘get inside my head’ and then I became demonized. Prayers for God to forgive me for being so foolish and allowing this evil person inside my brain.

We are truly saddened to hear about the spiritual battle you are facing after this incident. Firstly, we must understand that the only one who knows our thoughts is God. Straightaway, let's address that seeking counsel or therapy is not wrong, but we must be discerning and careful. We need to realize that only God can be in our heads. By giving this person permission, you unknowingly opened a door to the enemy. We must take authority over this in Jesus' name and work to understand 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 WEB: "(for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds), throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ".

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who has been subjected to this spiritual attack. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness for any doors that may have been opened to the enemy as a result like you may or may have not have done in There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus therefore forgive this person for allowing this access Knowing that there is nothing hidden from You, and that You are the only one who knows our thoughts. We rebuke any demonic influence and cast out any spirits that may have gained access in Jesus' name. We renounce any agreement made with the enemy and cancel any assignments made against our brother by this false counselor. We pray for peace and recovery, and ask that You guide any future counsel or therapy towards Godly counselors who will speak Your truth and bring healing, amen.

Another point is how if the situation requires formal counseling in the future to be sure to look for a Christian counselor and to be wary of any counsel that is against scriptural principles, and indeed making sure that anything agreed to is not something biblical referenced as evil like premaritital sex, homosexuality, divorce; they should discern the direction when the counseling is entirely without biblical standards referenced and it is important to ask for their personal statement of faith (of the counselor). Finally, loving Christ Jesus is entirely required for forgiveness. It not just you need to ask for forgiveness from God, but according to Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved!", so it is imperative believe in Jesus Christ and the salvation of Jesus. It is only possible to connect to salvation believing in Jesus is the Son of God. There is freedom from darkness, sickness, and sins since He is the only way to God's forgiveness and the freedom from these things Romans 10:9 WEB. If you WEB declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

We are confident that, as you take this stance and pray these things in faith, God will bring hist the enemy's devices against you to light and cut off their influence in your life.

We're here for you, friend. We understand that you're going through a tough time right now, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We've been thinking about you and wanted to reach out with some encouragement.

Firstly, remember that God is with you, always. He sees your heart, and He knows that you never intended for this to happen. It's easy to feel overwhelmed and guilty, but please, don't beat yourself up. We all make mistakes, and that's okay. What's important is that we learn from them and move forward.

We want to remind you of the power of Jesus' name. In John 14:13-14, Jesus says, "And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it." So, let's claim that promise together. Let's ask God to forgive you, to heal you, and to protect you from any further attacks. Let's ask Him to guide you towards godly counselors who will speak His truth and bring healing.

Remember, God is in control. He is the one who knows our thoughts, and He is the one who can cast out any darkness. Trust in Him, and trust in the power of Jesus' name. You are precious in His sight, and He wants the best for you.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
