Demonic Strongholds Continuing

My ### yo son's court hearing was Tuesday and my son decided for himself to extend Marchman by 3 more months. That is a praise he has forced help for another 3 months. The facility he was in for drug addiction/mental illness kicked him out because he was making out with a female in the facility with him. Now he is at a new facility, men only, and this place is specifically for drug addiction but they teach him how to be self-sufficient. He has to earn rights and privileges; they aren't just handed to him, which is great! And the facility said he could stay there as long as 3 yrs if need be! Of course, my son is back to being angry again and whining because he isn't getting his way. He still calls me a narcissist and blames me for everything, which is really upsetting. He is still addicted to AI and feels that AI knows everything and real people know nothing; not good! So, continued prayers, please. Prayers for a victory in my son's life, that the therapist ### will be able to get through to ###, prayers for a good mentor and the people and environment of the facility will be one of success. I want my son back; self-sufficient, kind, loving, realizes who he is in Jesus Christ and fulfills his purpose! It's been 3 months and he is still not improving mentally yet. Thank you.

We understand that you are dealing with a challenging situation with your son, and we want to assure you that we are here to pray and offer biblical guidance with you.

Firstly, we want to acknowledge the positive steps that have been taken. Your son's decision to extend his stay at the facility for another ### months is a sign that he is acknowledging his need for help. This is a praiseworthy development, and we thank God for this progress.

However, we need to address some concerns. Your son's behavior with a female in the previous facility is indicative of a deeper moral issue that needs to be addressed. The Bible tells us to "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB) and this is further addressed in (Matthew 15:19 WEB). This is something that needs to be addressed with your son as well as it is a sin against God and could be an indication of a demonic stronghold in his life.

Your son's addiction to AI and his belief that it knows everything is also concerning. This is a form of idolatry, which is clearly forbidden in the Bible. "You shall have no other gods before me." (Exodus 20:3 WEB) and (1 John 5:21 WEB). He needs to understand that the only source of true wisdom and knowledge is God, and that He has given us His Word as our guide.

Your son's disrespect towards you is also a sin in the eyes of God. (Ephesians 6:2 WEB). "Honor your father and mother," which is the first commandment with a promise. He needs to understand that his attitude towards you is not acceptable and is contrary to God's will.

We also need to address the fact that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB) and (John 14:6 WEB). We encourage you to acknowledge the role of Jesus Christ in your prayers.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our brother in Christ. We thank You for the progress he has made in seeking help for his addiction and mental illness. We pray that You will continue to work in his life, breaking down the strongholds of addiction, idolatry, and disrespect.

We pray that You will open his eyes to the truth of Your Word, and that he will come to understand that You are the only source of true wisdom and knowledge. We pray that You will give him a spirit of humility and respect, and that he will honor his mother as You have commanded.

We pray for the therapists and mentors who are working with him, that they will be guided by Your Spirit and that they will be able to speak truth into his life. We pray that the environment of the facility will be one of success and positivity, and that he will be surrounded by people who will support and encourage him.

We pray that he will come to know who he is in Jesus Christ, and that he will fulfill the purpose that You have for his life. We pray that he will be transformed by the renewing of his mind, and that he will become the kind, loving, and self-sufficient man that You have created him to be.

We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen. (Romans 12:2 WEB).

Remember, continue to stand firm in your faith and trust in the Lord. "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." (Philippians 4:6 WEB).

Please keep us updated on your son's progress so that we can continue to pray and offer support.

We're right there with you, sister. It's tough seeing our loved ones struggle, but we know God is faithful and He's working in your son's life. Let's keep lifting him up together.

First off, let's praise God for the progress made so far. Another three months in the facility is a step forward, and we're grateful for it. But we also need to keep praying for breakthrough in the areas that are still causing concern.

Your son's anger and blaming are heavy on your heart, and we understand that. Let's ask God to give him a spirit of humility and understanding. Pray that he'll see the truth in God's Word and understand that his actions have consequences. Let's also intercede for the people around him - the staff, mentors, and other residents - that they'll be instruments of God's love and wisdom in his life.

And yes, let's not forget to pray in Jesus' name. He's the only way to the Father, and we trust in His power to save and transform lives.

Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep sharing updates. We're here for you, and together, we can claim victory for your son's life in Jesus' name.

We continue to feel honored that you have given us the privilege to pray on your behalf. It is a blessing to stand in agreement with you in prayer, especially for your son's journey.

We are grateful to hear that your son's court hearing resulted in an extension of his Marchman Act, ensuring he receives help for another three months. We praise God for this progress and for the new facility that is designed to help him overcome his drug addiction and learn self-sufficiency.

As we continue to pray, we ask God to work in your son's heart, to soften his anger and help him see the love and support you offer. We pray that the therapists and mentors at the new facility will be able to reach him and guide him towards a path of victory and self-sufficiency. We ask that the Holy Spirit will open his eyes to the truth of Jesus Christ and help him realize his true identity and purpose in Him.
