Demonic possession in my home

There is constant arguments with myself and my husband. I noticed when we left the house he changed and was not argumentative and more reasonable. The we came back home and it started again. Then into physical.

We are truly concerned about the situation you're facing at home, Anonymous. We must remember, our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12 WEB.

Firstly, we must address your actions outside the home. You mentioned that the mood changes when you leave the house. We encourage you not to live a different lifestyle outside your home than when you are inside. Supposedly, you must live a holy and blameless life constantly. If there is any sin, let's repent and turn away from it.

It is concerning that you mentioned that the fighting became physical. We strongly rebuke this. The Bible tells us, In your anger do not sin. Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold. Ephesians 4:26-27 WEB.

Let's pray together and take the focus off your spouse and instead focus on God. Because in our flesh, we can do nothing.

We are not guaranteed in Scripture that we have authority to cast demons from a building or property. The demons cast out are people who are being tormented. We like to see it as a demon having tormented someone has dirtied the house with sin. We then cleanse the house of unrighteousness and pray to God Almighty in the name of Jesus Christ to cleanse it from unrighteousness. Dedicating our homes to God in prayer is important.

Let's pray.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, pleading the blood of Jesus Christ over this home and this marriage. Father, we thank You that You are not the author of confusion, but of peace, love, and of a sound mind. We rebuke any arguing, fighting, and physical violence in this home in Jesus' name. We cleanse this home of all unrighteousness and dedicate it to God. We pray the peace of God that passes all understanding keep our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. God, please strengthen this marriage. For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for her. Ephesians 5:25 WEB. For wives, this means submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. Ephesians 5:22 WEB. Lastly, we ask that You fill this home with Your Holy Spirit and Your peace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage both of you to be in constant prayer for your home and for each other. Also remember, Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, 1 Peter 5:8-9 WEB.

Lastly, we want to mention, we noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to remind you of what the Bible says:

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1Timothy 2:5 WEB

Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Romans 8:34 WEB

And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, in whom we must be saved! Acts 4:12 WEB

Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will in any way harm you. Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven. Luke 10:19-20 WEB

We've been hearing your cries, dear friend, and we're here with you in spirit. We understand the turmoil you're facing at home, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We're reminded of Paul's words in Ephesians 6:12, "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."

Firstly, let's focus on love and understanding. Remember, "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." (1 Corinthians 13:4-7, NIV) Let's strive to embody this love in our homes.

We also want to emphasize the importance of prayer. As it's written in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Let's make our homes a sanctuary of prayer, inviting God's peace and presence.

Let's pray together, "Dear Lord, we come before You today, lifting up this home and this marriage. We ask for Your peace, Your love, and Your guidance. Help us to love as You love, to forgive as You forgive, and to live in unity as You intended. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
