Disciple of Prayer
Someone I love gave his life to Jesus just over a month ago. He's had a steady stream of demonic attacks against him (and me) since then. He is SO ON-FIRE to serve God, and I LOVE that about him. But.

He got a FAB idea this week: To pray over a site dedicated to the horrible deaths of MILLIONS of people. He wants to go alone and lock himself in the place and pray until they're gone.

At first I thought it a beautiful plan but God kept revealing problems to me.

NOT about the plan, but about him going alone.
NOT because he's a new believer. NOT because he doesn't have a regular habit of reading The Bible, NOT because he seems obsessed with going there alone, NOT because he said "If I die doing what God Commands, so be it" or something like that.
NOT because he has LOTS of unhealed trauma and guilt and other things that demons would love to get their hands on (and do like every other day) AND that outrage him AND that trigger him at least once a day. NOT because he lives in a very volatile situation.
Not EVEN because he hasn't gotten to read more than half of the New Testament yet or develop spiritual discernment for more than a month or six weeks. Every other day, a new demon shows up with a new trick. And even though I've been a believer for 40 years now, even *I* fell for some of the tricks of the enemy this week. BASIC ones. (so has he.)

But just simply because I believe Jesus sent people out in pairs, NOT alone.
I don't think the demons can do anything to him, and he DOES have the gift of supernatural faith.
BUT he's never done a full deliverance on one person much less a space drenched in the blood of "innocent" humans. Again, I LOVE THIS IDEA of ousting the rampant darkness (which I felt over FaceTime one day). And I TRULY hope I'm just being a ninny.
BUT! I feel demonic fingerprints everywhere on this. When I asked him "is there a TINY chance this could be demonic influence?" he said naught. When I asked "Did God tell you to do this? Are you 100 per cent sure?"
Again, nothing.
When I begged him to reconsider, he angrily said he'd not go. I am NOT saying to not go. I just want him to be prepared. He JUST got deliverance recently and as previously mentioned, they haven't let a day go by without pulling shenanigans galore.
I am terrified. The other day, unclean spirit of python got my friend to tell God to scram. I KNOW that is not how he normally feels. He's been through SO MUCH and he's strong, much stronger than he realises. Because of the probs in his life. But his testimony is so powerful. And heavy anointing for DAYS on this man.

I don't know what I'm praying except "Let Thy Will Be Done, MOST-HIGH GOD!" AND "PLEASE GOD PROTECT HIS FAITH PLEASE IN THE PRECIOUS NAME OF JESUS!"

Hahh, I can't stop crying (which is fine, it'll give me a chance to pray all day and not get distracted.
(NOT because he hung up on me and I'm not sure if I'll ever hear from him again. NOT because he's vexed...or because demonic trash happened.
I'm terrified.

Not for me. I just love him, that's all.

Please, sisters and bros, PRAY FOR MY DEAR BROTHER.
Much Love In Christ <3

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with hearts full of love and concern for our dear brother in Christ, who has recently given his life to You. We praise You for his newfound faith and his fervent desire to serve You. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." We thank You for making him a new creation in Christ and for the powerful testimony You are building in his life.

Lord, we recognize that the enemy seeks to attack and discourage those who are newly committed to You. Your Word reminds us in Ephesians 6:12 that "we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." We acknowledge the spiritual warfare that our brother is facing, and we ask for Your divine protection over him.

Father, we ask that You grant him wisdom and discernment in all his endeavors. As it says in James 1:5, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Lord, we pray that You would provide him with the wisdom to navigate these spiritual battles and the discernment to recognize Your voice and Your will for his life.

We also pray for his safety and well-being. We know that You sent Your disciples out in pairs for a reason, as stated in Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, for he has no one to help him up." We ask that You surround him with godly companions who can support and uplift him in his journey.

Lord, we lift up our sister ###'s concerns and fears to You. We ask that You bring peace to her heart, knowing that You are in control. As it says in Philippians 4:6-7, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." Grant her Your peace, Lord, and reassure her that You are watching over her beloved brother.

We pray for Your will to be done in this situation, Most High God. We ask that You protect his faith and strengthen him against the attacks of the enemy. In the precious name of Jesus, we rebuke any demonic influences and declare victory through Christ. As it says in Romans 8:37, "Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us."

Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your unfailing love and protection. We trust in Your sovereignty and Your perfect plan for our brother's life. We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus. Amen.

Much love in Christ,
Your prayer partner

I'm really sorry to hear that you're feeling this way. It's important to talk to someone who can provide support, like a mental health professional or a trusted person in your life. If you're in immediate danger, please reach out to emergency services or a crisis hotline in your area. You're not alone, and there are people who care and want to help.

I don't wanna die
I don't either. Life is pretty fun, even with all the aches and pains of body and brain (and soul and heart and... every part, really).
Every day With Jesus is sweeter than the day before, if you haven't given your life To Him then know that He LOVES you tremendously and wants to be not just your LORD but also your FRIEND Who loves you and hangs out with you and... living With Him hath totally changed me from constant grief and just going through the motions (but in a way that stressed me out and ate my soul up with each passing day) and "Waiting to die" to now feeling unbreakable JOY in every situation. When my dearest non-Divine friend died in my arms a few years ago. And now, despite the feeling of having lost the person closest to me. My heart is heavy and I wish there were an "undo" button that worked on real-life situations, but I'm not thinking the way I once would have. (Again, that's not to say I'm giggling with glee and delight. I'm fully heartbroken and want to escape to another country for, like, weeks, but... I know I'll make it. Coz Holy Spirit Is GREAT At Cheering me up when I'm sad. (Which... is not uncommon in The Life Of ###, lol).

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

Thank you so much dear friend, that particular attack finally ceased (THANK YOU LORD!) and I PRAISE GOD FOR IT! In the days since, we've both sustained very heavy attacks, so heavy that I wondered if InDwelt can harbour demons. But God Told me that they were just bluffing their way, trying to make us despair so they could get in.
SO GRATEFUL for your prayers and I just posted another. I also have begun praying for people all over the site every day too! I am honoured to join my prayers with yours. Much Love In HIM Whom we Serve. +
