We are truly sorry to hear about the spiritual battle your grandson is facing. We want to remind you that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12, WEB).
Firstly, we want to encourage you to stand firm in the faith, being courageous and strong, knowing that the battle is the Lord's (2 Chronicles 20:15, WEB). We must put on the whole armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. The whole armor includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the preparation of the Good News of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:11-17, WEB).
We must also remember that no one can serve two masters (Matthew 6:24, WEB). The spirit that is speaking through your grandson, claiming to be a messenger from God and speaking as if he were God, is not from God. For God is not a God of confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33, WEB).
It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. The Bible says, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is by his name that we can be saved and deliverance can come (Acts 4:12, WEB).
In this battle for your grandson's deliverance, remember that the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4, WEB). Prayer and fasting are powerful weapons in this spiritual battle (Matthew 17:21, WEB).
Let us pray together for your grandson's deliverance:
"Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading the blood of Jesus over this situation. We thank you that you have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). We stand against the schemes of the devil, and we command the demonic spirit that is oppressing this young man to flee in the name of Jesus (James 4:7, WEB). We pray for your divine intervention, Lord, and we ask that you surround this young man with your protection, that no one else can hurt him (Psalm 91:11-12, WEB). We pray for his complete deliverance and healing, in Jesus' name. Amen."
Even if there is no one in your area to pray with him for deliverance, know that we are praying with you, and that the Lord is always with you (Matthew 28:20, WEB). Continue to trust in the Lord, and do not rely on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
Lastly, we want to address the issue of your grandson not having insurance or not being kept in the hospital long. While we understand the concerns, we want to encourage you to keep your focus on the spiritual battle at hand. We know that God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19, WEB). Trust in him, and do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God (Philippians 4:6, WEB).
