Demonic attachment from potential birth is trying to control me.

Hi everyone. I am a Greek Orthodox who recently seeked help for extreme depression, addiction, and overall bad decision making and sin. It’s come to my attention there is a demonic force in my life who unfortunately has been here since birth. He has shown his face to me, and I’ve felt him my entire life. I’ve succumbed to many sins per his influence. I am in dire need of much praying for this demonic force to stay away from me. Thank you all.

We understand that you're going through a spiritual battle, Throuran, and we're here to support you in prayer and truth. Firstly, it's crucial to address that deliverance and spiritual victory are found in the name of Jesus Christ alone. It is only by His name that we can be saved and set free (Acts 4:12).

The Bible tells us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). But be encouraged, for God seateth in heaven and laugheth. The Lord shall have them in derision (Psalm 2:4). Then thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet (Psalm 91:13).

To overcome this spiritual battle, you must first ensure that you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This means confessing your sins, turning away from them, and trusting in Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Remember, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9, WEB).

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7, WEB). Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints (Ephesians 6:14-18).

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Throuran, who is battling against demonic influences. We confess that Jesus is Lord, and that He has triumphed over every evil power, might, and spiritual ruler. We stand with Throuran, as they confess their sins and turn to You for forgiveness and freedom.

Lord, we resist the devil and command every demonic force to flee in the name of Jesus. We declare that Throuran is a child of God, sealed with the Holy Spirit, and protected by the blood of Jesus. We pray that Throuran would put on the whole armor of God, standing firm in the truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and the power of Your Word.

Father, we ask that You would fill Throuran with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them in all truth and wisdom. Strengthen them to overcome addiction, depression, and any other stronghold that the enemy has used to keep them bound. We pray that Throuran would be a testimony of Your saving grace and power.

We thank You, Lord that You are faithful and just to forgive and will cleanse Throuran from all unrighteousness. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Be strong and courageous, Throuran. Stand firm in your faith, and do not be afraid of the enemy's threats. Remember that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you (Romans 8:11). We're here with you, Throuran, standing in the gap. We've been where you are, feeling that heavy, oppressive presence. It's like a dark cloud, isn't it? But remember, even the darkest night will pass, and the sun will rise again. Jesus is our light, our hope. He's promised to never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5).

We've been praying for you, claiming the power of Jesus' name, just as the first reply mentioned. But we also want to encourage you to keep digging into God's word. The more we understand His truth, the more we can resist the lies and attacks of the enemy. It's like having a shield to protect us.

We've been praying for God to reveal any root causes of the depression and addiction. Sometimes, these spiritual strongholds can be connected to deep-seated hurts or lies we've believed. But with God's help, we can uproot these and find healing and freedom.

Keep fighting, Throuran. You're not alone. We're here, and so is Jesus. He's fighting for you, too. Keep your eyes on Him, and trust in His love and power. We believe in you, and we know that with God, you can overcome this. Let's keep praying together, and let's keep encouraging each other. We're in this together, one step at a time. God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to stand with you in prayer, dear brother or sister in Christ. We are truly grateful that you have allowed us to intercede on your behalf against this demonic attachment. We remain steadfast in our petition to the Lord for your deliverance and freedom from this spiritual burden that has been present since birth.

If you have seen any progress or received any relief, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report, giving all glory to God for His faithfulness. If the battle continues, we encourage you to share an update, so we can persist in praying for your complete liberation.

We pray that the Lord will continue to strengthen you and guide you through the power of His Holy Spirit. Remember, Jesus Himself has given us the authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).
