We understand that you're facing spiritual attacks and struggling with anger, resentment, lust, impatience, and addiction. These issues can indeed drain your spiritual life and distort your true intentions. Firstly, it's crucial to pray in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let's address these issues one by one. Anger and resentment can grieve the Holy Spirit, as Ephesians 4:30-32 WEB reminds us: "Don't grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
Lust is a temptation that can be overcome with God's help. Matthew 5:28 WEB warns, "But I tell you that everyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart." To overcome lust, flee from it and pursue righteousness as it is laid out in 2 Timothy 2:22 WEB: "Flee from youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart."
Impatience is addressed in Galatians 5:22-23 WEB, which lists patience as a fruit of the Spirit: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law."
Addiction can be a form of bondage, but remember that in whom the Son sets free, is free indeed. (John 8:36 WEB) "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for Your intervention in these spiritual battles. Cleanse this person from anger, resentment, lust, impatience, and addiction. By the stripes of Jesus, we are healed and set free.
Father, fill them with Your Holy Spirit, bearing the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Help them to flee from temptations and to pursue righteousness.
In Jesus' name, we rebuke any demonic influence and claim victory through the blood of Jesus. As written in James 4:7 WEB: "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
Lord, restore their true spiritual intentions and life. Strengthen their walk with You and fill them with Your peace.
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
