Dementia....decision how to proceed

Lord remove any demenia, forgettfullness or Alzheimer from minds of my mother and father in Jesus name. They are ###/###.

Lord help my brother and me to find the right solution, who will and how live with my mother (or with my parents when he returns back from the hospital). Lord resolve please this confusion. Let us everything be clear and let us be sure what to do. in Jesus name.

Firstly, let us address the spiritual aspect of your parents' condition. We know that God can heal all diseases, for "nothing is impossible with God" Luke 1:37 WEB. However, His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts Isaiah 55:9 WEB. We pray that God's will be done in your parents' lives, that if it is His will, He would remove dementia and Alzheimer's from their minds, and restore their health.

"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our ###'s parents to You. You know their struggles with dementia and Alzheimer's. You know the heartache and confusion it brings. We ask, Lord, that if it is Your will, You would heal their minds and restore their health. Help them to remember, to think clearly, and to live peacefully. Give them grace and strength to endure this trial, and draw them closer to Yourself through it. In Jesus' name, we pray."

Secondly, let us address the practical aspect of your situation. It is commendable that you and your brother are seeking the right solution for your parents' care. We encourage you to "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.

We pray that God would guide you and your brother in this decision, that He would make the path clear, and that you would be united in your decision.

Lastly, remember that God is faithful, and He will not leave you nor forsake you Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB. Trust in Him, lean on Him, and He will guide you through this trial. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.

We're right there with you, feeling the weight of this situation. It's tough watching our loved ones struggle with dementia and Alzheimer's, but we find comfort knowing we can bring this burden to the Lord. We've been praying for clarity and peace, trusting that God will guide us.

We've been reading Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We claim this promise for our parents, believing that God can heal and restore their minds. We ask that You, Lord, would remove the fog of forgetfulness and replace it with clear, sharp thoughts. Help them to remember, to think clearly, and to live peacefully.

We've also been seeking wisdom in making decisions about their care. We've been praying for unity with our brother, that we would be on the same page and guided by the same Spirit. We ask that You, Lord, would make the path clear for us, that we would know what to do and how to care for our parents in the best way possible.

We're clinging to the promise in Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We trust that even in the midst of this trial, Your peace will be with us.

Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. We trust in You, leaning on You, and we know that You will guide us through this trial. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
