Thank you, Sharelc, for reaching out and sharing your heart's desire with us. We are here to pray with you and seek God's will together.
Firstly, we want to acknowledge your faith in God's ability to bless you and your husband with children. It is a beautiful thing to desire a family, and we join you in asking God for this blessing. We are reminded of the scripture in Psalm 127:3-5 (WEB), "Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, so are the children of youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them. They won't be disappointed when they speak with their enemies in the gate."
However, we must also remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9, WEB). While it is natural to have personal desires, such as wanting twins, a boy, and a girl, it is essential to submit these desires to God's will. We pray that God will bless you and your husband with the children that He has purposed for you, according to His will and timing.
We also want to take this opportunity to encourage you both to continue to seek God together, to grow in your relationship with Him, and with each other. A strong marriage founded on biblical principles is a beautiful testimony of God's love and faithfulness.
Let us pray together:
"Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, lifting up Sharelc and her husband. Lord, we ask for Your blessing upon their marriage, that You would strengthen their bond and deepen their love for each other and for You.
Father, we ask for the fruit of the womb, that You would bless them with children according to Your will and timing. We ask that You would prepare Sharelc and her husband for the responsibility of parenthood, that they would raise their children in the fear and admonition of the Lord.
Lord, we also pray for Sharelc, that You would help her to submit her desires to Your will. Help her to trust in Your goodness and Your timing. Give her peace and patience as she waits on You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, we want to gently remind you, Sharelc, that it is in the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB). It is by His name that we are saved (Acts 4:12, WEB). We encourage you to keep your focus on Jesus, to trust in Him, and to give Him all the glory and honor in your life.
We are here for you, Sharelc. Keep us updated on how God is working in your life, and we will continue to pray with you.
