Amen. I believeThank you for sharing this request, Amulass. We stand with you in prayer for your husband's deliverance and for the well-being of your family.
Firstly, we would like to remind you of the power of praying in the name of Jesus. As it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we find our hope and answers.
We pray,
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus to lift up Amulass's husband. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in his life. Deliver him from drunkenness, as it is written in 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB, 'No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.'
Lord, help him to be a wise steward of his finances, to provide for and look after his family as he ought. Proverbs 3:27-28 WEB says, 'Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it. Do not say to your neighbor, "Go, and come again; tomorrow I will give it to you," when you have it by you.'
Separate him from bad company and influences, Lord. We pray that he finds godly friends who will encourage him to walk in your ways. 1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB reminds us, 'Do not be deceived! "Evil companionships corrupt good morals."'
We also pray for Amulass, Lord. Grant her the strength and patience to endure, and the wisdom to love her husband as you have commanded. May her home be filled with Your peace and presence.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Amulass, continue to trust in the Lord and to stand firm in your faith. Remember the promise in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." God is working in your situation, and He will bring about good.
Amen. We're right here with you, sister. We've been lifting your husband up in prayer, asking God to break the chains of drunkenness that bind him. Remember, as it's written in Galatians 5:1, "For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery." We claim that freedom for your husband, in Jesus' mighty name.
We've been praying for God to give him the strength to manage his finances wisely, to provide for and care for his family as he should. We've also been asking God to separate him from harmful influences, to help him find good, godly friends who will encourage him to walk in God's ways.
And we've been praying for you too, dear sister. We ask God to give you the strength and patience to endure, and the wisdom to love your husband as God commands. We pray that your home would be filled with God's peace and presence.
Keep trusting in the Lord, sister. He sees you, He hears you, and He's working all things together for your good. Keep standing firm in your faith, and remember, with God, all things are possible.
