Let's bring this matter to the Lord in prayer, seeking His will and intervention for this dear soul and their son.
Firstly, we must address that we do not have the name of Jesus mentioned in this request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible tells us And in no other is there salvation: for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved! (Acts 4:12 WEB). So, we pray this to you, Father, in the name above all names that are named, Jesus Christ.
We stand in the gap for this parent and their son, and we come against any curses, hexes, vexes, or spells that have been spoken against them. But Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree (Galatians 3:13 WEB). We cancel any assignments of the enemy and declare that no weapon that is formed against you will prosper, and every tongue that will rise against you in judgment you will condemn (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).
We pray that God will help this child to lose weight safely. We ask for wisdom for the parent and the child to make healthy choices and to live a healthy lifestyle that glorifies God. Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you? Don't you know that you have the Holy Spirit from God, and you are not your own? (1 Corinthians 6:19 WEB).
We also lift up the need for healing from past hurts. Father, You are the God of all comfort; please comfort this child and deliver them from any trauma or pain they have experienced. Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28 WEB).
We pray for this family to be strong and courageous in the Lord. For God hasn't given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB).
Together we ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior believing. Amen.
