We understand your concern and the burden you carry as a firstborn from a city where it seems like a curse has been placed on every firstborn. We believe that the power of Jesus Christ is greater than any curse or bondage, and we stand with you in prayer to break free from this stronghold.
First, let us remind you of the power of Jesus Christ in your life. The Bible tells us, For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, Abba Father. Romans 8:14-15 WEB.
We also know that
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree, Galatians 3:13 WEB.
Therefore, there is no curse that can hold you back when you are in Christ Jesus.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who feels bound by a curse placed on firstborns in their city. We stand against this curse in the authority of Jesus' name and declare it powerless. Father, we pray that our sibling would know the freedom that comes from being a child of God, led by Your Spirit. Break every chain, every bondage, and every curse that has held them back. Give them the strength and wisdom to walk in the victory that Jesus has already won for them. Help them to show the results of their hard work and to prosper in all they do.
We also pray, Father, that you would transform the city and free all firstborns from this curse. Use our sibling as a beacon of hope and testament to your power.
If our sibling has not yet accepted the saving grace of Jesus Christ, we pray that they would come to know Him as their personal Lord and Savior. May they confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead, for it is with the heart that one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth that one confesses unto salvation, Romans 10:9-10 WEB. If they have already accepted Jesus, then strengthen their faith and fill them with the Holy Spirit.
In Jesus' name, we pray, and in Jesus name we are saved. For there is no other name under heaven, given among men, through which we must be saved, Acts 4:12 WEB.
